Full access to OneDrive for selecting email attachments
It would be very helpful to be able to select any file from OneDrive when sending an email (as opposed to the current, very limited options for accessing files in OneDrive).
Also, implementing a way for users to select either:
- "attach as link"
- "attach a copy of the file"
would be very useful as well.
I hope to see further development in this area, as these are essential features for business users, power users, and consumers as well.
It would be great if we could select a file from OneDrive and attach it to an email in Outlook on the web by using mobile devices.

Add an option that automatically sends attachments regardless of where they originated as onedrive links instead of sending the file itself.
Files received in emails, files you create locally etc ALL files that you subsequently send out or forward on as attachments should instead be automatically uploaded to your onedrive and a link sent in your email (if the organisation turns on the feature for everyone, or an individual / group).

attach files from OneDrive rather than recent files from onedrive
I would like to be able to add email attachments via OneDrive.
That sounds very basic as a requirement. I have a Microsoft account with a Home subscription attached to my gmail email address and had to send a file in my onedrive. First I tried on gmail and wrote the email out but there was no option of even accessing a onedrive location. Possibly understandable since it’s a google endpoint. Then I tried to write an email on my Outlook app from my gmail address and yet again I did not see any option to attach or insert a file from my onedrive. I had access to google drive as well as iCloud Drive but not onedrive. From outlook. Should gmail users just never get onedrive? This is so frustrating. I literally had to go over to onedrive and copy the link and paste it in the body v. as a modern attachment which is what I wanted.

It is ridiculous that files and text and not be copied to other apps. Very inconvenient for communication.
Attach files that others have shared with you
Owa had a great file structure that you could collapse. Can we have it back please?

It should be available to attach “Shared with Me” files from OneDrive, we can only share our own files. WhatsApp supports that, come on Microsoft, you can!

This used to be simple, but now seems impossible. The only way I can look for Onedrive files is with the search function, but it never finds the files I need.
When adding attachments from OneDrive in an email it’s not possible to mark more than one item. There should be possibility to mark several pictures for instance. Now you have to click the "paper clip button"-"add file"-"OneDrive"-navigate to the correct folder-choose the file you want to add. If you want to attach more, you have to repeat all of this for all the pictures.

Currently I have no access to shared files within my company when trying to attach from a linked OneDrive account. Local files are visible with no option to switch to shared files.
Currently you can’t attach a onedrive file to an email reply. You can only attach a link to a onedrive file. If you can, then it’s too buried to be intuitive.
Can you integrate a very pratical, existing feature on Apple MAIL, that is, to directly transfer slippery files frome OUTLOOK to ONEDRIVE, and from ONDRIVE to OUTLOOK? The interest is to save time, without having to go through the addition of an attachment, one by one.

It would be nice to add necessary documents from our onedrive to events in the calendar.
In the outlook app for OS there is only an option to look at personal onedrive location rather than the shared one drive location as well like in the native outlook app.

I cannot believe I have to request this. What is the point of attachments if we can’t use the feature?!

Please integrate the OneDrive for Business sharing options to the attachment process.
Today there is only the choice of link (accessible to all with the link) or attachment.
In the OneDrive app and in apps like mobile Word you can specify individuals that can access the file. In Outlook 2016 for Windows when you attach from OneDrive you have the option to limit to recipients. I don’t see that in Outlook for iOS.

They are too hard to find after they’ve been opened.

It is completely not understandable why I can't access my folders easily (in any linked cloud storage) to locate the file I want to attach vs the limited view given. Please fix this...
