Hi. Is it possible to disable badges for the account who I disabled the notifications? Now, even if I disabled the notification for a specified account, in the app is shown the badge of this account.
I am on vacation and I don’t want to delete the app while away, but I am leaning towards it because I don’t want to be disturbed. All though I have turned off notifications, still seeing the badge count increase gives me anxiety about missing emails. Thanks
Do not include junk emails within badge count

Batch Counter on App shortcut:
THe batch counter still pops up when e-mail is received in the mailbox and DND is enabled within the Outlook. When we say a DND it should also suppress the batch counter so that it does not distrct user from doing other activity on iOS device.
Please can you have a look at it.

Would like to see the ability to toggle a badge / email count per account. For example, it would be great to have my work and personal accounts both synced with Outlook, but I really only want to see badge count on personal, or work, or both.
There is a bug in the latest ios version.
If you have multiple accounts, and you turn off notifications for one or more of them, the red badge on the outlook icon (ios home screen) still shows how many unread messages there are for that account.
The proper behavior should be that only for accounts where notifications are enabled yield unread badges on the icon.
It is not a solution to turn off badge notifications in the iOS settings for the app entirely because then you can't see the unread number for the accounts you care about.
Would be good to have the option to turn off all notifications for a given account, including red badges for unread emails rather than combining all regardless.
- Organize by thread
- Badge Count
These two options under settings mail section need to be per account not for all mailboxes across all accounts .
I would love to have the ability to control per account.
When selecting focused inbox for for batch number it shows all before you enter the app and get them all downloaded.
This has been being worked on for too long!
Working with this app in the enterprise workplace I have a multitude of rules, inbox and archive folders and I decide which are important emails and not having a badge count available unless I turn on Focused Inbox is the worst. I should be able to set badge count to on regardless of focused inbox being on or off.
Also no way to list special alerts for special senders is not good for me (a la VIP).
App needs a lot of work. Full transparency I was forced to this app based on work rules and had no issues with the native iOS mail app and would be still using that if I could
I have been waiting for this fix for way too long. I’d love to use outlook mobile as my main mail app on iOS but I can’t as the badge count is including unread email from other accounts that I don’t need to reach to.
It’s a simple fix - when notification is off for certain accounts, don’t include those accounts in the badge count.
You would make a huge amount of people happy if you could fix this.
It would be helpful if the badge count had mire options than all/focused. For example, Favorite Contacts and Threads with unread email (1 count per thread).
The threads can be particularly helpful if some firestorm chat occurs with you on CC list. I don’t often need to be involved until the end.
The Favorites would also be a great alternative so my notifications match my badge count.

Have the ability to select whether or not an email account can be included in the badge count.

It’s already annoying to individually mark email as read. Now the unread mail dots don’t disappear immediately, instead there is a delay, so now it’s even more annoying.
Please resolve the performance issue with email not showing as read immediately.
Request to be able to see badges for different email accounts on the app, rather than all accounts or not.
Eg I only want to see personal badges for hotmail but not my work email badges all weekend, so option to switch badges off for certain accounts.
Whenever you guys update this app, I have to click on every folder I want refreshed (where new emails go based on rules), before it will automatically get new mail. This is insanely annoying especially with so many updates constantly coming out.
Why not have either a simple: load all folders? On/off option or allow me to choose which ones will always load.
It would be really useful if you could toggle the badge count off for certain accounts.
This is especially useful when outlook is used for both work and personal accounts and you don’t want to be notified of new work emails all the time - when you are on holiday for example

i suggest feature that selecting accounts that badge icon counts such like notification setting.
Now badge count show all account unread message. But i want to know the information of desired accounts.
Especially now that we can add shared mailboxes. Having hundreds of unread mail in the shared mailboxes really takes the badge count up and makes it impossible to keep track of the amount of unread personal mail.

Outlook mobile app does not have an option yet to turn on / off the badge notifications for a specific e-mail account only.
