  1. Contact card should show out of office status message

There’s no way to see the out of office status message in a contact card. Either using search or tapping a person from an email header, this is not visible. It should be.

  2. Japanese contacts are sorted incorrectly. They should be sorted by the "Phonetic last name" field.

Outlook for iOS/iPadOS does not sort contacts with Japanese names correctly in the "People" menu. For example, if the "Last name" field of a contact to "山田", this contact gets sorted under the letter "S", not "Y". I understand that the pronunciation of Japanese names is not predictable just from the kanji, but even when adding the "ヤマダ" into the "Phonetic last name" field, the name is still sorted incorrectly under "S" rather than "Y". This is particularly strange given that setting the "Last name" field to "ヤマダ" does correctly sort the name under "Y". Can this be fixed so…

  3. Save Contacts Feature on Outlook for iOS

We found this issue with the Save Contact feature in Outlook for iOS.
In fact, according to what is developed now, when you enable the Save Contact feature in Outlook for iOS, Outlook would save those contacts on the iCloud account (this thing doesn't happen with Outlook for Android, where adifferent area is created).
Differently, we would like to have either a separated area from the iCloud account even in the iOS scenario (for example, the Yahoo app works in that way) and in general the possibility for the iOS device to read those contact without saving them outside the…

  5. Show a contact’s automatic reply

When viewing a contact, show prominently their automatic reply so we know immediately if they’re on vacations or something else, without having to send or even start a message. The Windows version does it when putting that contact as a mail recipient, which should mean that information is easy to obtain and display.

  9. What3words

Would like to see a field for ///what.3.words on contacts. This is being used more and more by people and organisations such as emergency services. It is much more accurate than gps as a location is within 3 square meters!

  10. iOS Dual Sim Support

Set the preferred SIM on outgoing calls for contacts imported into the iOS address book per account.

iPhone XR and XS support dual sim. Contacts can be assigned which SIM to use for outgoing calls.
Right now, this does not work for outlook contacts: They always use the “default” line (which is the personal one in my case). You cannot manually set the preferred line in the iOS contact either as these contacts are read only.

  11. In People information there is not Assistant name information or her phone

Only the GAL contacts in the Address Book of the Outlook for Windows, are visible the information about Assistant name and Assistant phone. In the old OWA, the new OWA, Outlook App for iOS or Android, or even in Outlook for MAC, you can not see this information. It's very important for the Faculty and Executive people in a big companies.

  15. Contacts from Sub Contact Groups

Currently, the iOS app only syncs contacts listed under the main “Contacts” option. I have a few other contact groupings such as Suppliers or Purchasing Agents in the Outlook PC application. This is great as it separates the contacts that I need for a given situation

**It would be great if the app would include those contacts when syncing the contacts to the phone. I don’t need them to be separated out by their contact group as indicated above, I just need their contact info to be in my phone address book!

  18. Search for contacts

Would be good if outlook could pickup contacts frequently emailed and pull in the likely phone number or address for that person based on email history. Currently very hard to do this in Outlook App

  20. Suggested contacs

Please allow users to delete suggested contacts.

For instance, I want to send an email to a specific “Joe” which I prefer to see him first on the suggestion list. In order to find my “Joe” I have to dig thru other “Joe”s, even with the ones I never sent an email. Most probably those irrelevant “Joe”s are indexed from cc field of other emails which are completely out of my current interest. So, please bring me the ability to see my preferred “Joe” and let me delete the other irrelevant ones on the suggestion list.

    Thanks :)
