  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.

  1. Organize by thread option should show the latest email in the thread on the top rather than at the bottom of the thread

When Organize by thread option is selected, all the e-mails in one thread are grouped together with first email in the thread on the top and the latest email in the thread is the last. To get to the latest email one has to scroll all the way to the bottom and it will be helpful if this order is reversed so that the latest email can be quickly accessed.

  2. Add the contacts icon on the bottom navigation bar.

The new version removed the contacts icon for the search icon but when I search I don't always get the contact I am looking for even if it's in my contacts. Then clicking on the contacts it sends me to the list where I can not search anymore, I have to scroll, the previous version was much more intuitive

  5. Read recipes. No email threading.

Bring back read receipts so I know my sent emails have been opened.
Remove the threaded view in the app.

  7. make attaching attachments easier to find and attach

it is hard to use with the current version as you can omly attach attments you've previously attached or only use your device files and even that hard to use as you cant change where and how you want the device items to be listed. you should be able to attach from your idrive which is very hard to do at the moment.

  8. spam filter settings!

Emails from my contacts often end up in the spam folder. I would be great if you could change the spam filter intensity in the app.

  10. provide full support for Outlook tasks

I've inquired about this before, i.e. supporting full-featured Outlook Tasks in the Android version. not some dumbed down todo list, but a full fledged database, syncing categories & their colors, all the task fields synced properly. Customizable views. Pocket Informant did it back in Windows CE days, should be a lot easier today given today's phone capabilities. my task dstabase is several thousand items, so you can see why custom views matter

  11. Separate calendar and mail in 2 apps

when looking at a date, it forces you to exit any email that you write at the same time. Exiting calendar comes back to email. I wish the 2 were totally separate.

  17. make the mobile version able to mark Spam emails as Not Spam.

as described, I can't see how you mark some Spam as Not spam, as you do on the desktop version.

  18. change reply font size and type in Outlook mobile app to match the font size and type in desktop Outlook.

font size and type should match all across different devices (desktop, mobile phone, tablet, etc) when replying or composing an email. The font size appears bigger on the desktop application than it does in the mobile app.

  20. offer to resize jpg or photo attachments to small, medium & large before sending so message size limits are better managed

if multiple photos are attached to an email the email will fail to send. due to hi-res phone cameras usuyallu only 1 or 2 photos can be attached to an email using outlook due to karge attachment size. when photos are attached, the mail client should habe a check button asking if attachments should be resized. if tucked then small, nedium , large radio buttons appear then the resize occurs and mail is sent
