  3. for IMAP and POP3 accounts: even if contacts not available within outlook, OL should be able to access Android contacts app.

Sending email to a new receiver first time, is not possible unless email address is copied from contacts app and pasted in OL email. K9 email for Android finds email addresses from contacts app easily.

  4. Don't hide the REAL email address of the sender. Outlook only shows a coloured circle with a letter, dangerous spams are hidden this way.

Dangerous spams use a false but trusted looking address as name. The real address that actually shows its a spam is hidden behind a useless coloured circle in outlook.

  7. Allow to add an email address as a contact when viewing the address in an email they sent to you.

I've tried pressing/ long holding over the email address, over the person's name, over the circle icon that represents them, and searching options within the email message itself, but I am never given an option to add the sender to my list of contacts so that they will pull up in a contact list of folks I can send a future email to.

  8. Give us the Advanced Configuration for On-Prem Configuration Back

Since you have removed Advanced Configurator from the Menu, we can no longer manually configure users in Outlook for on-prem users. We are getting intermittent issues with users and we can configure them with any other third-party app and manually enter the information and it works.

  9. make it so the settings button is not blocked by a "cannot login" notification. left my job, can't login to my email or delete this inbox

after leaving my job, I no longer have access to my company mailbox. but Outlook continues to try to log in. the notification saying that I need to re-sign into my now invalid account is blocking the settings tab where I would go to delete the association to the company mailbox. please help as the notification perpetually blocks my calendar icon

  14. when you have email have a box to tick to say ok and a x to say no thanks then dont let that email address contact you again.

Once you have said dont want emails from this email address block them from being able to email you again will stop alot of emails going into junk folder.

  17. bring back long press for multiple email selection.

you used to be able to select multiple emails by a long press on each in turn.

a recent update has changed this so this no longer works but instead you long press the first and then tap the tiny sender icon for the rest.

please can you reenble the old method as well.

many years of use of the outlook app have conditioned me to delete multiple emails that way, and every time I still do so and then winder why only the first has deleted

the long press on subsequent emails still proves haptic feedback which just makes…

  19. Calendar widget formatting and Quick Actions

If you look at calendar widgets like digical in Android they provide great features to enhance user experience and usability. current outlook calendar widget is too buggy. There are no quick actions like snooze dismiss for calendar reminders. This is much needed feature for us to confidently use outlook calendar and widget.
