Outlook for Android

Outlook for Android

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

              To attach a photo or file to an email, tap the paperclip or photo icon in the bottom right of the compose screen, above your keyboard. You’ll then be able to attach a recent or Dropbox/Box/OneDrive file, a photo from your device, or take a new photo.

              You can now save images to your device. To do so, click on the icon at the bottom right corner of the screen of the image preview. There, click on “More” then “Save Image”.

                There are currently two options to delete emails without opening them.

                - Swipe the email to the left. By default, this will archive the email. However, you can customize Swipe Options in the Settings.

                - Long press on the round icon at the left of the email until it becomes a checkbox. You’ll then be able to select it and delete it. This is very useful when you want to delete multiple emails at once.

                            • check how outlook works on a blackberry and copy paste! simple! on android useless calendar and mails not user friendly.

                              emails start downloading when u open them which takes forever on a slow connection. cant connect to the server contacts directory. no spell check no ability to open attachments easily cant set up prope calendar invites all and all unacceptable application

                              • When working with Support on this app. Please find a way to delete message sent in error. Sometimes it is sent without being finished.

                                While working with Support I sent one or 2 posts that were incomplete. It would be nice to delete them and repost so there is less confusion.

                                  • How do you do a full update on an App and degrade it? Take away the phone integration for android!!!

                                    I am a CTO and I use Outlook.com for my personal portal and was going to move our company away from GMAIL business to Outlook.com as the integrated site with One Note, Office 365, one drive, Contacts and Email is bar none the best portal. The old Outlook.com app use to integrate Calendar and Contacts seamlessly with my Note 4.
