Outlook for Android

Outlook for Android

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Select multiple emails after making a search and able to move them into folders

    When I search for emails in my inbox I cant select multiple emails which is populated in the search result. I want to be able to select multiple emails and move them into a specific folder

    It is currently already possible to select multiple emails at once. To do so, long press on an email until a checkmark appears at the left of it. Once you’ve selected multiple emails, you’ll then be able to perform mov actions on them, like moving, deleting, marking as read/unread, archiving… A “Select All” option will also appear in the top right corner.

    It's showing past events and updated with upcoming events. likely a bug.

  5. Searching on the andriod mobile version does not work as advertised. (eg "to: Chris")

    Only a few emails that fit the example criteria will be found if any. sometimes emails are totally missing.

  10. when searching, don't group emails in the results, or at least make it an option to not group the results.

    the search results group the email conversations, so I can't get to the exact email I want. I need to get to the particular email to perform an action on that specific email (not necessarily the latest one in the trail). it should be an option to group the search results.

  16. Allow opening older messages via search function, and avoid the confusing Unable to load error. Per support this is by design.

    Fix this. It works on ios!

    Hi Phillip, thanks for reaching out. Opening emails through the Search Function will only display the headers & will give you a "Error Loading Message" error. This is because our app automatically syncs one month or 1000 emails to allow for advanced features such as Search, Files, Calendar, and People.

    If you would like to view emails without any errors, simply scroll down in any folder and tap "Load more messages".
