    Hi there,

Thank you for using Outlook Mobile and sharing your ideas with us. We really appreciate your support.

There are a few quick and easy way to delete emails from the Outlook app.

    1. Delete button in reading view.

Simply tap on the “trash” icon on the upper right corner of the screen to delete the email that’s currently open.

    2. Swipe to delete.

Swipe the email to the left. By default, this will archive the email. However, you can customize Swipe Options in the Settings and change the action to Delete.

    3. Bulk delete.

This is very useful when you want to delete multiple emails at once. To do this, long press on an email until a checkmark appears at the left of it. Once you’ve selected multiple emails, you’ll then be able to perform the following actions: deleting, marking as read, archiving. A “Select…

It is currently already possible to perform bulk action in the app. To do this, long press on an email until a checkmark appears at the left of it. Once you’ve selected multiple emails, you’ll then be able to perform the following actions: deleting, marking as read, archiving. A “Select All” option will also appear in the top right corner.

    Hi there,

Thank you for using Outlook and letting us know about your current experience. We really appreciate your support.

We are so sorry this is happening to you. This is not how it’s supposed to work. You’ve reached a support channel that is dedicated to feature requests only, but I would suggest that you refresh the account and see if that helps and fix the issue on your app. To do this, open our app —> Settings —> Select the email account —> Reset/Refresh Account

If that doesn’t work, don’t worry, we have helpful colleagues over the in-app support who are more than happy to have this sorted out. You may reach them through the Help Section of the app (Settings > Help and Feedback > Contact Support) so that we can assist you in the best possible way.

We look forward to fixing this for you.

  8. Enable calendar sharing from android to desktop so that I can easily set my calendar at home and amend it on the go

Add a functionality within the outlook app to share your calendars. Alternatively or concurrently, enable the desktop version of outlook to automatically detect and download calendars from the app.

We should then also be able to edit the calendar in one device and have it reflect on the other.

  9. when setting up a repeating appointment in the mobile app allow us to set the number of occurrences like on the Desktop version.

the goal is to be able to have a multi day project only show in work days. that way if the project is delayed all I need to change is the start date and it will reschedule all of the project days skipping over nonwork days. In a perfect world we could have drag and drop to move appointments and in multi day appointments if part way through a 5 day project you would have a option to split the project and move the remaining uncompleted days to another date. Thanks for your consideration.

Calendar must be available for Outlook. Without it might as well be in regular email.

    Hi Outlook users,

We’re excited to announce that the Outlook on Android application now supports shared calendars for Office365 and Outlook.com users!

If you already have a shared calendar, you’ll need to upgrade it so that it syncs to your mobile phone. It’s simple to do though: just ask the calendar owner to re-share the calendar to you, and then click the Accept button in the Outlook app. After accepting, you’ll be able to see the shared calendar on your mobile phone!

This feature is only available if both the calendar owner & the sharing recipient are hosted in Office365 or Outlook.com. And if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to the in-app support team by going to Settings > Help & Feedback> Contact Support and we’d be happy to help!

  20. sync the calendar ring on the watch face asap, as it currently takes up to half a day just for a new calendar entry to appear.

The calendar ring of any new entry should appear within a minute of creation, instead of taking up to half a day.
