    Hey!

Thank you all for your patience! The ability to add and edit recurring events is now available for many account types, you can also edit or delete a single event or occurrence out of a series. If your email account supports creating events, you will be given the option to create them from your Outlook calendar on iOS/Android. If you are unsure whether or not your account supports recurring events on mobile platforms please contact your email provider or our in app support team.

    Hi Outlook users,

We’re excited to announce that the Outlook on Android application now supports shared calendars for Office365 and Outlook.com users!

If you already have a shared calendar, you’ll need to upgrade it so that it syncs to your mobile phone. It’s simple to do though: just ask the calendar owner to re-share the calendar to you, and then click the Accept button in the Outlook app. After accepting, you’ll be able to see the shared calendar on your mobile phone!

This feature is only available if both the calendar owner & the sharing recipient are hosted in Office365 or Outlook.com. And if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to the in-app support team by going to Settings > Help & Feedback> Contact Support and we’d be happy to help!

    All the best
    The Outlook Mobile Team

PS: Please use the Help Section of the app…

  3. Showing shared shared calendars of us (as in web mail)

I would like to look my other employees calendars as like in web Outlook (which is already shared to edit and view)

  14. Fix phone number parsing in location to dial in for meetings

When the phone number in direct dial from Calendar includes a dial in code and pauses, it does not get picked up by the the parser.

For example, when the dial in looks like:

    1-877-885-1087,,1234567890#

which is common for my company's meetings, only a portion of the number is underlined and clicking it results in an incomplete dial in code.

another common form for us is:

    1-877-885-1087,,,1234567890#,,*1234#

generally the number of commas may be arbitrary.

the current phone number parser seems to only be able to pick up numbers of a certain length.

as the feature is implemented now, it…

Hello! We want to apologize for any confusion at this time. Currently only the time format will respond to your device settings. This feature is not in place for the date option at this time though we would love to hear your thoughts on this feature by either commenting here or submitting a new feature suggestion.

If you are having trouble, don’t hesitate to contact us by going to Options → Help & Feedback → Contact Support.
  17. Easier multitasking between email and calendar

Outlook has multiple functions integrated in the same app... Not only would I like to have a separate icon to launch directly into email or calendar (not to mention better calendar widgets), but having both functions in a single app makes multitasking more challenging, e.g. check calendar while composing or reading email. Is there a way to deliver a better experience in Outlook's "monolithic" design?
