Notification for new mails in folders and subfolders other than inbox as well as easier switching into folders.

There should be an option for me to have push notifications for "filtered" messages in outlook mobile/web.
I currently have setup a rule in outlook web. And the rule works properly (moving a certain message to a folder). But the problem is i dont get notified of this message when it it filtered by the rule.
from the forum posts i have seen, it looks like outlook desktop has this feature. But I dont see it when i setup rules in Outlook web.

I would like the ability to receive notifications for emails that go co folders I have set up for rules I've made. I have to manually check multiple folders to know whether I have received an email. other email platforms allow you to sync a number of folders to your liking for which you get notifications.

I get notifications for my regular inbox folder, but I've sorted my email into multiple sub-folders which I do not get any notification from. It is therefore impossible to know when/if I've got a new email from a frequent contact.
We were just mandated to use the Outlook app. on our mobile devices at work and I only get notified when mail arrives in the Inbox, not the subfolders or other folders in the root. This seems like something easy to design into the app. (?) C'mon Microsoft.

To update all folders, not only inbox.
This nuance doesn't allow to have rules, moving emails automatically because of the risk to miss new ones in custom folders.
Plus "New emails" folder would be extremely useful to have all fresh correspondence in one place.
Talking about Android, but suppose also relevant for iOS.
I don't get notifications on Android for my folder level emails

We've been asking for this for 5 years! getting notified for new emails should be high on the list, and way higher than " listen to my emails" feature! smh

Receive notification for incoming emails, directed to folders by rules.

Provide option to mark mail folders for which you wish to receive notification of arrival of new mail. At present, notifications only occur when new emails arrive in inbox.
Useful if notification tone could be set for each individual folder (similar to how messaging systems work).

How in the world is this not yet a feature? Are the MS engineers from another planet where professional email users don't use rules to sendemails to subfolders?
Android and iOS stock apps have had this functionality for over TEN years!
Without this BASIC functionality, I cannot recommend this app to my end users.
This is beyond ridiculous!

Be able to be notified by the app for all incoming messages in favorites folders.

Currently non focused emails send a pop up and focused emails mostly do not, I'd like to see a pop up for focused emails and none for not focused.

I'm surprised this has been an outstanding issue for so long. It seems pretty clear this is a very popular want, and not a particularly complex feature to implement.

Notification for new mail in folders
we only get notifications when we get any new email but when we have customized folders in inbox and those sender's send any email we do not get a notification until we manually go and check the folder. due to this we tend to miss any important email notification.
