add to calendar from email
a year or so ago the previous hotmail app used to have an "add to calendar" option. thus converting an email to an event. please can you re introduce this as it was a great feature.
Thank you for your feedback on this great feature. We have recently added the ability to create a calendar event directly from an email.
To do so tap on the reply icon from the open email> from the bottom of the reply screen tap on the calendar icon>then choose convert to event.
If you have any trouble with this feature please contact our in app support team from the settings portion of the app.

PS: Please use the Help Section of the app for any questions, we are not able to see replies to this address.

when wanting to add an email invite to your calander, add a feature in the Move to Folder that it can be added as an event or appointment to the Calander, or a separate tab in the drop down menu

when there is a date in an email you should be able to click on it and add it to calendar as an event like on ios email
Most appointments are created after receiving a massage or email from someone. On the desktop one has to drag and drop the email into the calendar icon and fill in the details but at least the info in the email can be referenced in the calendar appointment. In the mobile app this is not available which means you have to copy the text, go to the calendar etc.
In both the mobile app as well as the desktop the ability to click on a button to directly create a calendar event will be so time consuming and a great feature.
Allow to create calendar appointments from an email like you can do on the Mac version of outlook

Be able to convert an email as a calendar event to be remind of it in the future.
And also, if there is a date and/or time in the email, to set automatically the event at this date/time.
I get lots of mail where an agenda item needs to be made. At the moment I:
- copy the content of the mail,
- leave the mail,
- click agenda,
- create appointment
- fill subject and date time
- paste text in remarks
isn't really productive...

Allow attachments (documents, photos, links to mails, etc.) to be added to appointments, including links to emails. From an email, create an appointment linked to that email (with a link that can be opened from the appointment).
a swipe option or easy way to create a calendar item from an email, where the calendar item will contain the email.

Using your outlook App, When you have an email that you want to add to an event wich is created or not in the calendar.
Possibility to attach the email on the event if it's created and if its not, create the event with the email attached.
Resolving kind of those Problems:
You have a doctor appointment in the calendar and the doctor ask you the pdf file that he sended to you by email.
With that solution, you just need to look on the event where you attach the email and click on it. You ll be directly redirected to the email and find the pdf file.
You'll win a lot of time. Instead of searching on all your e-mail in the mail box.

I miss not being able to tap on a time in an email to automatically schedule an appointment on the calendar like we could do on Windows mobile.
I like that the mail and contacts apps are combined under one icon to save screen space, but I miss Windows Mobile's many features that are not here on Android.
It would also be nice to have an option to show a separate icon on the home screen for Calendar. I often use the calendar app without email and the app opens to email so have to tap twice to open the calendar.
Samsung Android email app can open email and create calendar event. Very efficient to create calendar event. Outlook desktop has drag to calendar. Outlook mobile app needs this feature, current schedule option is not intuitive. I
