add to calendar from email
a year or so ago the previous hotmail app used to have an "add to calendar" option. thus converting an email to an event. please can you re introduce this as it was a great feature.
Thank you for your feedback on this great feature. We have recently added the ability to create a calendar event directly from an email.
To do so tap on the reply icon from the open email> from the bottom of the reply screen tap on the calendar icon>then choose convert to event.
If you have any trouble with this feature please contact our in app support team from the settings portion of the app.
The Outlook Mobile Team
PS: Please use the Help Section of the app for any questions, we are not able to see replies to this address.

A swipe movement generatea a create task event. Outlook would leave it open for android to generate with whatever app is preferred to maximise compatibility with other services.
when I get a meeting request in email, I used to be able to just accept it and it would be added to the calendar on the app. now it just sends a rsvp to the sender. I REALLY need to be able to add them to my calendar; that's the reason I installed the app in the first place
when someone emails about a date and time Google asks if I want to add it to the calendar. You could do the same or integrate with Bookings. Also, Outlook online allows you to Add a Task, but the mobile app doesn't.

I am dumbfounded that - from the Outlook for Android app, at least - you cannot add an email, thus creating an event/reminder, directly to the Outlook Calendar from Outlook email!!! Maybe I am wrong, but I can't see any way to do it...

Long press on email should bring up functions list. One function should be create meeting.
Option to create calendar appointment from an email in the app
Bring back the ability to select an email and create an appointment that contains the email text.
From android app add ability to create a calendar invite from email so automatically invite window appears with all recipients on the email added to the invite (you can do this on the windows desktop app)

Create the ability to create a calendar event through an email and maintain the link between both.
Also add the flag option to calendar in order do say if an event was completed or needs do be rescheduled to finish the job.

example, receive an important email with required information. I want to have option to schedule as a calendar event besides just changing to flagged, read etc..
Add create event directly from an email, like when on desktop outlook and you just drag an email down to the calendar icon

emails that include date, location, and a description can be converted into a calendar event
As a user I should be able create a calendar event from the email message. Similar to the option in the desktop version.

when wanting to add an email invite to your calander, add a feature in the Move to Folder that it can be added as an event or appointment to the Calander, or a separate tab in the drop down menu
Most appointments start with an email.
It would be very efficiënt if one could convert an email message to a calendar item, by the push of a button. One would have all the info from the email conversation in the new calendar item and would only have to fill in the date and time and save it. Full circle.

when there is a date in an email you should be able to click on it and add it to calendar as an event like on ios email
Most appointments are created after receiving a massage or email from someone. On the desktop one has to drag and drop the email into the calendar icon and fill in the details but at least the info in the email can be referenced in the calendar appointment. In the mobile app this is not available which means you have to copy the text, go to the calendar etc.
In both the mobile app as well as the desktop the ability to click on a button to directly create a calendar event will be so time consuming and a great feature.
Allow to create calendar appointments from an email like you can do on the Mac version of outlook
