sync contact folder and not just suggested contacts
The app only appears to synchronize suggested contacts, when I search for a known contact that I rarely converse with, I cannot find it in the app but can find it in my contacts folder in Desktop Outlook.

I really need this. the custom folders appear in Outlook.com but not in android. so I can't call them without being in front of the PC! also the categories doesn't sync! I organize my contacts by fold and by category. I need to see all of them in their respective locations across all my devices and platforms. Online, PC, and Mobile.

I use Outlook on PCs with my data stored on Exchange as part of Office 365 Business Premium. In Outlook on my PCs, I have multiple contact folders such as Vendors, Customers, Friends, Family, etc. I have hundreds and thousands
of contacts in each of those folders, so I like to keep those contacts separated into different folders to make them more manageable. Outlook on Android only syncs contacts with the default Outlook folder called "Contacts." However, that's only a small percentage
of all of my contacts in Exchange. I need my Android device to sync with all of my other contacts folders too. How can I do that? Please allow me to select the contact folders that I want my Android device to sync with. Please don't limit me to only sync
with the default contacts folder called "Contacts." -

Bring back the contacts button/icon. Make it easier to sort, edit and add contacts. Without contacts there is no one to text, email, call or schedule time. This should not be a secondary feature. Thank you.

in order to write an email should be more easy to add from a contact folder with all the e-mails addresses.. SO YOU SHOULD CREATE A FOLDER TO SAVE ALL THE ADRESSES..AND NAMES..LIKE A PHONE CONTACT BOOK..kind regards.Julian

As for the emails, where I can see on the app all the messages I have in the subfolders I created, I would like to do the same on my contact list. But I can see (and link to the contact list of the phone) just the contact that are on the main folder.

I use Office 365 / Exchange and have multiple contact folders, not just the default one. I would like to sync these other contact folders with Outlook for my mobile device.

When creating a folder to store contacts under Outlook for windows, these contacts are not available under Android contacts. I must add the same account on default e-mail application on Android to get my contacts

This has got to be one of the sorriest design features I have ever seen. If you are going to synch contacts, allow users to synch all contacts and synch all of the contact information. Microsoft should be ashamed of this product and this "feature."

When syncing to contacts only the main contact folder is used. All sub folders are ignored. On the PC version multiple contact folders is an important feature. If I have folders for say local clients, suppliers, personal, overseas etc at the moment only local client is uploaded and the rest ignored.
