Automatically sync all folders

This is the last email client I can find on Android that won't actually operate properly and automatically sync all subfolders and then notify on new mail. All the rules to manage the hundreds of emails a day I get are totally useless and I'm back to being tied to my desk if anyone sends me an important email. And of course, Corporate IT is tied at the hip to O365 and all its peripheral trappings that no email client OTHER than Outlook is allowed.
This is so utterly unacceptable, and totally fixable. Outlook.com on an IMAP connection does this perfectly. It's not as though there aren't people inside MSFT that can figure this out. Five years this as been sitting here. 3 years the same thread has been getting posted to until MSFT finally locked it, I guess because they got tired of people complaining about the fact no one seems to care how useless their app is despite all of us being forced to use it. This is literally the kind of blind following by an IT org that will get me to leave a company for one that uses tools that allow me to get my job done effectively.
ARRGGHHHH!!!!

Auto Sync is a must for all the folder you selected to Auto Sync. Just like all the other email apps.

on mobile one has to sync email on each folder instead of auto sync

Reported to support - basically got no conclusive answer why this can't be fixed. Almost every time I update the app from Google Play Store I need to manually click through all my custom folders to make them sync automatically again.

Auto refresh rate is too slow.

I have multiple folders within inbox in which new email does not sync automatically and I don't get notification of email when new email arrives in folder. I will have to open App every time and click on folder to sync in order to check whether new email has arrived.

At this time, customer service has informed me that all my custom created folders will not auto sync. I have to manually access each folder to force it to sync. They mentioned only the original inbox folder automatically syncs with new emails.

The automatically sync of sub folders does still not work, although it was set to finished by the devolment team. Please add this feature, so I get also a notification for new email in subfolders.
Thank you and Kind regards

It's disappointing to find out that Microsoft the premier most in the Tech world doesn't have the basic feature- an e-mail auto sync enabled for custom folders in their mobile app 'outlook for Android'

this is a basic feature which requires to auto sync emails in sub folders , at this point we have to manually go and sync which is really hard ...

even touchdown has this feature and it is utter garbage. if you want to use folders and rules to put mails into folders, outlook is useless for professional usage

After syncing all sub-folders one by one, I opened the app again and to my horror now I have to download messages for each sub-folder again, which should probably be for nothing once I close the app and open it again...

every mail client offers this feature, but your app doesn't support your own technology I.e. Microsoft Exchange sub folders management

I wish I could download the emails from all my folders automatically. At moment, I have to download one by one.

the other folders we create to filter mails or not sync automatically.
Only in web we are able to create rules.notification badges of different folder. should be customised which folder notification badge should show. or total count.
after removing notification from notification panel. badge still exist thats bug -

Folders are not synced unless you manually click download messages. Even if you do it only downloads some of them and you have to keep clicking until prompted if you want to downlad all messages. Adn evdn if you do, if you don't open that folder for some time ot roves tge synced messsges and you have to redo the process. Whoever thought this was a good idea should stop having ideas.

When I click New Msg, first I'm shown whichever msg happens to be highlighted. Then the New Msg form appears ready for me to type in my msg and the receiver's name. All this takes so long.

Outlook displays notification before email is loaded in inbox

You should be allowed to select how much of your mail history you want. Ex, ALL Messages, Last Year, Current Year, Last 6 Months, Last 3 Months, etc. Most important is ALL.

The app doesn't constantly refresh the inbox, so it'd be nice if I could choose to automatically refresh every minute, or if I'm running low on battery power, every 30 minutes.
