Getting direct access to the Calendar in stead of going through the main Outlook one, significantly increases the ease of use.

Coordinating a meeting while drafting an email is impossible, since there is no quick access to the calendar. In order to do so, one has to save the draft, open the calendar and only then get back to the email.

Allow user to color code for different types of meetings and events (i.e. yellow for call, blue for online meeting, purple for private, green for out of office, etc.)

While composing an email I often want to check something on my calendar. To do this in the Outlook app I have to save the email as a draft and switch over to the calendar tab and then go back to the email in the draft folder to finish composing it. I would like two separate apps that I can have open at the same time please.

I would like to be able to switch between an open email message and the calendar and back. Right now, opening the calendar closes the email message.

An open email you're working on (perhaps looking at date possibilities for a meeting) will close when you switch to the calendar to see availability. This is time consuming and you have to hunt for the email in drafts and do this multiple times if looking for multiple dates for meeting possibilities from the email and reviewing calendar availability.

The Outlook App should have a Calendar only feature that allows users to sync some parts of their Google accounts, and some to not be synced with the Outlook App.

This so you can reference one to create the other (mail > calendar or calendar > email) by either splitting the window or switching/swapping between the two.

for example when I am working with an email and I want to look at something on the calendar I can't switch back and forth between email and calendar without losing my place. was very successful at this with the standard Android email and calendar apps before using outlook

I would like my email and calendar as seperate apps. Right now I have to go into the outlook app which is defaulted to email, then click on the calendar

Something like Google's Calendar app. The calendar in Outlook works well, but it can't compete with Google's or Samsung's stand-alone apps in terms of convenience. Maybe integrate it more with To-Do.

please can outlook mail and calendar be separate apps like they are on Windows, when I want to look at my calendar I don't want to see my email first. Also, because I am using a Windows style launcher I want the calendar to have its own live tile so I can see at a glance what's on for the day without having to open the app, the same as I can on my PC.
