Standalone Calendar App
a standalone calendar app for Android so you don't have to go through the outlook app

Make the calendar a separate app; make it work/ behave like it does on Windows phones; and it is cumbersome to use! That said, it is sad the Android version of the Calendar is so poor compared to the Windows phone app! Just to mention one short coming is the lack of the snooze functionality which alone makes the Android version virtually useless, and leaves me looking for a third party app that does work like the Window app!
ln addition, it is slow to launch, to delete reminders, etc, and to sync! It is just sad in every way when compared to the Windows app!

Replicate the Windows 10 Calendar experience such that it may be pinned as a stand alone App, many users are forced to have a third party, or default calendar that connects to their Microsoft account.
On certain home screens leveraging a Calendar App enables additional viewing or previewing functionality, the Arrow launcher comes close but is unable to replace the need for a separate calendar App.

I use the Microsoft Calendar a lot but, in my opinion, if you do an app only for this, the experience at the time of using it will be much better. At my phone I can use it perfectly, and I have a widget only for the calendar, but at the PC or my tablet I have to search it on internet. It will be so nice to have a PC app to ease the entrance. Thanks.❤️

calendar should be separate from inbox. you can't look at email and book calendar appointments or send calendar invites at the same time...

"Calander" should come separately. As a different app altogether. And it should be in synchronisation with other similar applications.

Disconnect Mail an Calender so that Calender ist an extra App - Just Like Google, Apple etc.

you should have an option to have calendar as a separate app. some people may like mails and apps in the same app but i feel the use of one takes over the other in such cases. you should have a separate app for calendar with a better widget and people can choose if they want to see calendar in the same app or as a separate app.

The scrolling on day-view is terrible. Why don't you add an option to just scroll through the appointments of one single day and let people choose how they want to scroll?
For people with overloaded Calendars it's extremely annoying that you automatically switch to the previous/following day if you're scrolling through your long list of appointments.
It would also be nice to have an option to show more appointments in the month-view. The space on one day can easily be used more efficiently to show more appointments (again useful for people with many appointments; showing just 3 or 4 is not enough).
Thanks for even considering these suggestions!

I'd prefer to push outlook appts out of my work outlook into a third party app that combines my work and life accounts. At the minute it seems I have to bring life to work or take work home. Surely there's room for balance

The Outlook Mail mobile app enables me to access my Outlook mails and Outlook Calendar contents. So when I want to view my Outlook Calendar, I have to first load the Outlook Mail app, and then select Calendar. This is so inefficient and makes Calendar use so clumsy.
Please provide a separate Outlook Calendar mobile app.

It is useful to have my work calendar on my phone at all times, but I do not want to have work emails on my phone. This is not currently possibly is they outlook app. You have to see both or neither. we need a way to optionally synchronise calendars independently from email.

I want a separate calendar app so I can use task switcher to jump from mail to calendar without having to close mail and also to manage notify separately. I need calendar notifications 24*7 but NOT mail notifications at night!

Since I use the Outlook app I missed several appointments.

Right now it’s only possible to show or hide existing calendars, that need to be created on the web. An option to manage them directly from the app would be very helpful

I know we can already put separate icons on the home screen with a widget or a shortcut but I also want the ability to have separate Mail and Calendar app shortcuts in the app drawer

The extra step to access calendar app through Outlook app is burdensome. provide a standalone app for calendar so I can replace the Google or iOS one.
