Have the ability to have emails sent from alias account.

Allow an account to become an alias of another account, and allow all emails of that account to be transferred as well.
I have three primary email accounts I've used with Outlook/Live/Hotmail/MSN over the past decade. I would like to be able to take two of those three accounts and convert them to be aliases under the third account, as well as to transfer all the emails to the third account, subfolders and all.

I can't use my Outlook 365 aliases. In Thunderbird I can do that.

currently there is no way to handle alias with IMAP, just look at K9-mail
currently, a user has to create a separate account for iCloud alias thus creating two mail boxes and duplicating the inbox messages.

always respond from the alias you received the email and not the default email id.

Basically I use one email address to access my account which for increased security I avoid using as a point-of-contact. However, outlook for android prefers using the login email for poc instead of an alias. Even now as I write this feedback the address auto filled in is the one I login with. Please ask rather then assuming with out permission.

I am using gsuite service from google.
I have emails and groups (aliases).
when i define an alias (for example sales) to forward emails to one of the main users (ceo), then i receive all "sales"when emails on my personal "ceo" email which is correct. but when I want to reply I should be able to reply from that alias adress (sales). so there should be a "from" field to change and by default should reply from recipient address. for example the default "from" field in this case should stay on "sales" and not "ceo".
but i only can do it in webmail. and everytime i should open gmail.com for this purpose.
In summary, I need to have a "from" fields on google gsuite service to choose between main user and aliases.

You should let people add aliases for every mail and not just outlook. I have many aliases from mailo.com, yahoo.com, LaPoste.net and I can't send email from any aliases but only from the real email account.

I moved my email from a hosting provider to my outlook.com account and it iscredirected via the godaddy partnership built into Office 365 Personal/Family.
outlook.com via web and the Mail windows 10 app, I can set my alias as my default send from in place of my outlook.com address
I cant do this in the outlook app on android. its greyed out. the default is my @outlook.com address.
The app stated in advanced settings to go to my Microsoft account web version and change my alias, but, I cant do this because I am not a normal alias.
Please change the alias in advanced features in the outlook app to allow me to change the default alias.
Why did you remove this, Microsoft! Please restore it!

I use the alias @outlook.com to answer all emails that finishes with @ifrs.edu.br or @canoas.ifrs.edu.br amd it would be nice if i could set this as default. I use my principal alias (firstname.lastname@example.org) for personal propouses, so i cannot just set this samuel.ifrs as default for all. I want to set this default just to answer a kind of email.

as in when you send an email with an alias, you reply to their response with the same alias not the default email address

Also should be able to reply from an Office 365 for Business Group Name or Office 365 for Business Exchange Distribution List Name. This works in OWA and Outlook for Desktop. Need it on Android Mobile App.

Would be good if we could send emails with aliases added in gmail account

Capacity in Outlook app to nominate an alias address as the address shown to others when sending emails.
Outlook used to do this in the phone app, but it is No longer available as an option.
This would allow you to not disclose your email 'username'' when sending email, but rather use your alias email address; which in my case is my main known address.

instead of going into a new message and then having to change the email it sends from to my premium address, I would like to set it to default to that address like I do online
