move event from one calendar to another (like in iOS) with simple click
copying and moving events between calendars should be made easy

It is ridiculous that it is not possible to move an event from one calendar to another. Weening off the iTeet would be much easier if Outlook would help.

BofA created an appointment for me today in the Android calendar, even though my MS account calendar is the default in Outlook. I want to move that appointment to my default calendar!
My team works with several shared personal and group calendars for various event statuses with varying permissions if access to team members based on status of the event. We move events from an active client scheduling calendar editable by everyone, and an internal company calendar visible only to Senior team members, to a completed events calendar only edited by Senior Management. Outlook Desktop allows moving events between calendars. It would be great if Outlook Mobile could do the same.
when I receive a meeting invitation and Accept the calendar item into my calendar, it posts to my default email address calendar. I keep my actual calendar in a different account/folder.
desktop Outlook has a Move item to .. a different folder feature. I need that on my Android Outlook BADLY

outlook calendar system option in android
I use the calendar as a task list and moving stuff from one calendar to another on Android or iPad would be great. I can do it on the web, but allot of times it is easier carrying my phone around then a laptop.

it would be very helpful if I could just tap on calendar event and move it between days. advent calendar event between particular days to date and enter the event. this is very time-consuming and sometimes I'm in a rush. the solution would be if I could enter the a three-day view and move event between these days or I could move events between days in a full month view.

After a calendar event is created being able to move it to another calendar.
Currently there is no way to move an existing calendar event to a different calendar. You need to manually delete it and recreate it to a different calendar.
This include event detected by outlook itself. These "detected" event can't be shared to other people (at least through Android) app, nor to a calendar you might be sharing with someone i.e. Hotel or airline emails that are "detected" for calendar events. This means you have to create a new calendar event to send/share with someone else.

If you want to edit an appoitnment, it is not possible to move this appointment to an other of your own calendar like it is possible when you create a new one. instead you have to delete the appointment and create a new one.

So far it is not possible to change the calendar where an item was saved

Sometimes I create an event in my outlook.com personal calendar instead of the shared calendar on the same account. I'd like to be able to just move the event to the other calendar. The events typically have no invitees; I basically just want a drop-down to let change the calendar on an existing event, similar to the drop-down you get when creating a new event. (OR, a way to create a new event starting from an existing event as a template, but I really prefer the drop-down.)

I use the Calendar widget to display items from my personal calendar and my work calendar. One place to see all my calendar items. I use the Outlook app but I also have to sync my work calendar via activesync to get it in the Android calendar. Let me sync my calendar to Android like I can sync my contacts using the Outlook app. it's become an issue now because I just enabled MFA on my office 365 account and I don't want to use an app password to sync my calendar using activesync via Android. The built in Android tools for syncing to Office 365 don't support MFA. Thanks!

Until recently, it was possible to move an existing event between two calendars. This has now been disabled it seems, so now if I want to move an event from, say, my personal calendar to our Family Room calendar, I have to delete the original event and create a new one in the desired calendar. Please bring back the ability to move events between calendars!

I use my Outlook calendar to track my time for billing. I change the scheduled appointment time to the actual time when I start work for a client. when I am done, I change the end time of the appointment to reflect the actual end time. when I am done with that appointment I would like to move that appointment to a journal or another calendar so that my billing people can see that this item is ready to be added to an invoice.

if I create an event on a personal calendar need to be able to edit it and move it to a shared calendar.

Both my calendars are Outlook.com calendars, one personal and the other a family that are shared on the same email.
Let me explain : when adding an appointment I get to choose which calendar the appointment must be on. You tap calendar and the option comes up.
The problem is that if I forget to choose a particular calendar before appointments are made, I then can't go back and edit the appointments to change Calendars. I have to delete it and start from scratch.
I tried to edit the appointment, but although the word Calendar is highlighted, it does nothing if you press it, tap it or long press it. It is cumbersome to delete and start from scratch. What am I doing wrong? Thanks
