Hey everyone,
Dark theme is now fully rolled out on Outlook version 4.0 and higher! You can turn on Dark Theme by going to App Settings under Preferences. You will need to restart your app in order to see the setting. Thank you for your feedback and for voting on this feature.

to create milder contrast, it'd good to change the background a bit close to white like a dark gray instead of black. not sure if now we have a pure #000 black though. it's difficult to read a long letter on the dark theme now because it's too strong contrast. it makes my eyes get tired.

Bright mode keeps the original colors, formatting and highlights in the email message, but dark mode is better within the Outlook App GUI. As an option (the user enables it or not), allow for a "mix" : GUI in dark mode, email message opened and seen in bright mode. As a further plus, allow to decrease the bright mode message display brightness, so to read i.e. black text against light Grey background.

if I've OLED screen on my phone and if there is dark theme in Outlook it will save my battery and it will look way cooler than this white screen
