edit account settings
I would like to be able review settings if usuccesfulde indtraf og being dropped back to start. I'm being forced to input everything again and can't see what went wrong - so I just get madder and madder for each turn (:-
The app does not offer any support for setting up accounts. This is deeply regrettable. You are practically forced to use another app.

Seems pretty obvious.

My wife's Outlook on Android stopped receiving messages a couple of days ago from her email account on my custom domain, it works fine through web mail.
So we tried to find the server settings to revalidate them/edit them to get it working again, but try as I might I cannot find the server settings for an existing account.
VERY odd that you cannot update server settings, I'm sure you used to be able to do this?
Coincidentally on my Android every few hours it pops up with a dialog to logon to one of my email accounts again (different domain to the one above), so I have to put in my password then it is fine again.
It seem this app is getting more difficult to use all the time :(
Same here. Sending mails isn't working any more but settings cannot be changed.
This app really sucks!

If the automatic installation of an account fails despite correct information, there is no possibility to set up the account manually.

Advanced features required to change account type. i.e. from Exchange to IMAP.

edit email settings
I can't view my email settings.
I can only add, reset or delete an account.
If the ISP changes some port or address, I must delete my account within Outlook & then add my account as a new one with all the associated typing of usernames, passwords, IMAP settings etc.
Why not allow to view & change existing settings? It could be good.

My email account from Telenet.be is not working as expected. I am unable to see all the settings that are used by the app to connect to the imap and smtp server after the setup of the account is complete. This is frustrating while debugging the issue. We need to see username, server, Port, security and authentication settings and the possibility to edit these values.
Your ****** app does not allow server settings to be changed on existing IMAP accounts.

Need the ability to view and edit account server connection parameters. I can do this on my desktop, and it really helps when trying to nail down the correct settings. Meanwhile, on Android it's write down the settings, then nuke and try again if it doesn't work. Also, not even viewing the settings really hampers getting any tech support help from your ISP.

I used to be able to assign different destination folders to the special folders; Sent, Trash, Drafts, Spam, Archive etc. under advanced settings on my IMAP account. Now this option is suddenly gone. I want the advanced settings on IMAP accounts back, to be able to assign these folders to the same folders (with different names then in this app) that I use on my PC and the webmail of the account. Please add this advanced settings to IMAP accounts again! It worked fine, so I don't understand why this has been taken away in the first place.

Allow for a manual setup for my server setting
Sending email doesn't work now! My sent folder in imap account has different name (because of local language), and I can't set it up now. Why? This feature worked well before, but "advanced settings" under account info is missing now.
Make it so we can set up an IMAP account and change/modify the settings as needed - I can receive mail but CANNOT SEND.

I've created an IMAP mail account using automatic detection. Got an issue : outgoing mail doesn't work. Want to check and possibly modify the IMAP-SMTP advanced parameters. Apparently not possible unless I suppress the existing account and create a new one. I don't want to suppress the existing account, just modify its server settings! How?
There are numerous problems with the server configuration dialogs
1. settings of existing mails account cannot be changed. Only workable solution is to remove account and reset.
2. that leads to the second big issue: setting up an e-mail-account is a major hassle if the account is not provided by one of few biggies.
3. every now and then (6-8 weeks) Outlook shows the lame excuse that the password needs to be reset. That does not work either, so the loop to 1 starts all over.
Plead: in the year 2020 it should be possible to send e-mails without such undue hassle.
Add the option to edit the server settings for an existing account (or make it possible to find, three engineers here can't find it, had to delete the account and set it up again).
