zoom out and in on an email to reduce scrolling on my phone.

When I receive tables in mail, I generally need to zoom in to see the content. If the table is longer horizontally than can fit on the screen, the touch scroll gesture to move the screen focus is very difficult to activate. What ends up happening is the screen focuses a few pixels to the right and then interprets the gesture as vertical so scrolling stops. The only way to scroll horizontally is to swipe perfectly horizontal. The tolerance to allow for horizontal swiping should be increased.
Picture size (layout) is enormous in some cases. Even you choose "make pictures smaller" they are so big that you really need to focus to zoom them smaller. Really annoying to read with mobile.

This is already implemented in better Android calendars. All 4 edge zoom cases described above (⇆⇅) and values between them are useful for daily work.

y cant i zoom out a long mail to fit in a single screen... zoom out was available in windows phone outlook.
The ability to set the screen view is very important! One needs to be able to see the full day, or work day, at a glance. This view should be SAVED so it remains the same when Outlook is reopened.

After zooming in on a message, moving inside a zoomed area is possible ONLY on a two-way direction, either sideways or up/down, until you lift your fingers off the screen and try again.
1. Once scrolled sideways, trying to scroll up or down is impossible, until lifting your fingers off the screen and then touching the screen to scroll up/down, which would disable you from scrolling sideways on the zoomed area.
2. Once scrolled up/down, scrolling sideways is impossible as well, until you lift your fingers off the screen and then scroll sideways, which disables scrolling up/down on the zoomed area.
On other mail clients or web browsers, it is possible to move on a multi-direction.
I would like to pinch to reduce the font to fit the whole email in the screen without line wraps.

i wish I could choose the 'zoom level' of the view of calendars. i have missed a few meetings because the calendar font size is small and it's tough to see the proper start time of calendar events.

Pinch and zoom focuses on the very top of the email rather than where the pinch and zoom occurs. Fix it!

It is easy to set the letter and proportion to all sizes in 1% steps, like LG mobile mail. I can zoom in and out on the screen with two fingers. The size and spacing of the letter, etc., change proportionally. Simply and accurately in 1% steps (writing the percentage during setup) I can set how dense the look I want! Very simple and practical.

Please improve pinch to zoom gesture in the mails. When you do the gesture on the screen it will always zoom in in the upper half of the screen. Please improve this so you zoom in where you actually pinch to zoom on the screen.

when zooming with two fingers, the behavior of the zoomed area behaves totally different from other apps, e.g. gmail

When I pinch to zoom in an email, it scrolls while zooming so I have to scroll afterwards to find what I wanted to zoom in on. Zoom should not scroll, it should stay where I was.

The zooming function need to be greatly improved upon. Compared to stock Android clients outlook on Android does not scale well.
Text and images zoom separately, the movement ist not smooth and continuous

when you zoom in on a message, it zooms from the top of message instead of where you're pinching in. This causes the entire message to scroll by instead of keeping the pinched area centered under your fingers.
I reported this to customer service since it's clearly a big, but they said they could not do anything about it and that I had to post this issue as a feature request.
