Search folder names when moving emails
When moving an email to a folder, I'd like to be able to start typing the folder name and then the folder appears. Useful if you have lots of folders.
When moving emails to a folder from my mobile app it is painful trying to find folders or sub folders.

So after I ve read an email, I want to file it quickly. The move to folder function currently shows all the folders and you have to scroll endlessly to them. But if you had a search box where you can just type the folders first 3 letters for example and then it showed a list of just those folders. It would be so much quicker.

Hundreds of users have asked for this feature over at least a 7 year period! This feature has been available in Outlook on IOS years. Why has this never been addressed by Microsoft? Does Microsoft even monitor these forums? There must be a reason why this hasn't been added, can someone please explain why?
to scroll down for ages until I find the folder I want to use. The desktop app is not as horrible but the search options are still vert poor.

Yes this is a critical feature that the app desperately needs, especially for business and heavy email users who have lots of folders. Both of the enterprise oriented email apps that I used previously have it. Nine does a great job on this but BlackBerry Hub is even better and always predicts (very well) what folders I would want to file messages in. Unfortunately neither app is under active development and I switched to Outlook but I rarely file messages on the app and wait until I'm on my laptop which is a big inconvenience and a waste of time not filing at the time I'm dealing with messages. Frankly Microsoft should buy the BlackBerry patents or license the software and physical and virtual keyboard and integrate them into Microsoft products.
I have lots of folders for organization and scrolling through the folders is too cumbersome.
add a search bar so we can find folders easier , to move messages . This function exists in iOS Outlook , but not in Android .

Currently when you move an email to a folder. You show the entire folder list. Including expanding all of the children. of the folder If you are someone who heavily searched your emails into folders. You start to accrue a lot of folders. including folders in folders So finding a folder that you specifically want to put that email into. Requires substantial effort as you scroll endlessly through the expanded folder list trying to find this folder.
when you select move to folder or in general when you're viewing the folders. Having a search bar. That wouldn't be able you to search the folder list for. the folder in question would be ideal. perfect in this issue
is super nice to have feature, but no way required Would then be to do some day I on the folder list to see if you could determine where I would want to put it perhaps pulling in the top three folders that this would logically go into. Pinterest does a great job at this when you're pinning image into a board.

introduce a Search Bar in the "Move to folder option" in order to find the destination folder easily
Make it possible to search for the folder and then choose that folder when I want to move my mail from the general inbox to a certain folder.

Be able to move the mail from the mailbox to the specific folder. I need to go all the way down and select the folder. A search option at the top of the folders list should be good. I type the name and that folder is displayed below, I select the folder and move it.

Unbelievable its not there yet, absolutely a requirement to do proper triage on mobile. Alternative would be to make categories fully sync towards mobile but thats not possible it seems through activesync.
Please add this functionality. Key reason for me to use Nine or Blackberry hub instead of Outlook

Allow searching a folder when moving an email, as it already exists in the web version.

beeing able to search for a folder (as in owa/hotmail) when moving emails.
For peoe like me with lots of outlook folders it would be super useful to be able to search the one you are looking for instead of endless scrolling to find the proper one. Nine app has that feature and is super useful.
If I want to archive mail I would like to search the folder with a search function. This works with ios but not whit android
