Search folder names when moving emails
When moving an email to a folder, I'd like to be able to start typing the folder name and then the folder appears. Useful if you have lots of folders.

In the Android apps there is currently no possibility search the right folder through a search field. Example. I receive an email from Rachael, I read it and decide to move it into the folder < Rachael >. I have to scroll all the list of the folders until I find the required one. Whereas from the browser I can start typing the name of the folder to find it more quickly. Could you implement that in the Android apps? Thanks!

When moving mail to a folder add an option to search for the required folder instead of scrolling (sometimes it's almost endless)
This has been in Mac for years why not in windows? this is a really efficient when having tons of folders

When sorting emails and moving them to folders, it would be efficient to search for the folder instead of scrolling endlessly for it.
In order to find a folder both in the folder list and when moving an email to a folder it'd be great to have a search to prevent scrolling through a long list of folders.

On IOS version you get search field to easily find correct subfolder which is critical with lots of subfolders. On Android this search field does NOT exist. Doesn't make sense such big gap between the two versions. Please add this feature to improve email triage on android version

Please implement a search feature when moving emails to a folder so you can type the name of the folder and it appears rather than scrolling through multiple folders to find the correct one.
When moving emails to a folder from my mobile app it is painful trying to find folders or sub folders.

So after I ve read an email, I want to file it quickly. The move to folder function currently shows all the folders and you have to scroll endlessly to them. But if you had a search box where you can just type the folders first 3 letters for example and then it showed a list of just those folders. It would be so much quicker.

Hundreds of users have asked for this feature over at least a 7 year period! This feature has been available in Outlook on IOS years. Why has this never been addressed by Microsoft? Does Microsoft even monitor these forums? There must be a reason why this hasn't been added, can someone please explain why?
to scroll down for ages until I find the folder I want to use. The desktop app is not as horrible but the search options are still vert poor.

Yes this is a critical feature that the app desperately needs, especially for business and heavy email users who have lots of folders. Both of the enterprise oriented email apps that I used previously have it. Nine does a great job on this but BlackBerry Hub is even better and always predicts (very well) what folders I would want to file messages in. Unfortunately neither app is under active development and I switched to Outlook but I rarely file messages on the app and wait until I'm on my laptop which is a big inconvenience and a waste of time not filing at the time I'm dealing with messages. Frankly Microsoft should buy the BlackBerry patents or license the software and physical and virtual keyboard and integrate them into Microsoft products.
I have lots of folders for organization and scrolling through the folders is too cumbersome.
add a search bar so we can find folders easier , to move messages . This function exists in iOS Outlook , but not in Android .

Currently when you move an email to a folder. You show the entire folder list. Including expanding all of the children. of the folder If you are someone who heavily searched your emails into folders. You start to accrue a lot of folders. including folders in folders So finding a folder that you specifically want to put that email into. Requires substantial effort as you scroll endlessly through the expanded folder list trying to find this folder.
when you select move to folder or in general when you're viewing the folders. Having a search bar. That wouldn't be able you to search the folder list for. the folder in question would be ideal. perfect in this issue
is super nice to have feature, but no way required Would then be to do some day I on the folder list to see if you could determine where I would want to put it perhaps pulling in the top three folders that this would logically go into. Pinterest does a great job at this when you're pinning image into a board.
