Search folder names when moving emails
When moving an email to a folder, I'd like to be able to start typing the folder name and then the folder appears. Useful if you have lots of folders.

The 365 version on web has a search typing box to file into folders. I have hundreds of folders so scrolling is awful.

instead of scrolling down the list of folders it would be helpful to have a quick search function that helps find the folder you're looking for faster.
This feature is finally added as of 15 October!

When you sort out emails from the root (inbox) folder to other folders, please implement mail folder index search to find the folder you need. Now you have to scroll the whole folder tree to find the right folder , spending a lot of time.
Such a function is impemented e.g in Nine Folders mail client

"MOVE TO FOLDER"
WE ALL REQUEST FOR YEARS NOW THAT YOU LET US TYPE THE NAME OF THE FOLDER WHEN "MOVING TO FOLDER"

When moving email to folders, provide search option for folders like OWA does, instead of providing a never ending scroll bar. better still, copy entire folder management modules and UX from Nine App.
PLEASE add this feature. Being able to search for folders when moving is so much quicker. The web version does this, the android email clients do this.... so please can Outlook do this. Thanks

When moving an email item to a folder it's needed to scroll all the folders - please could you add a search feature to complement that?
Nine is the very best email client on the mobile... Could you please test it and copy most of it?

Mirror ability on iOS to search for the folder when moving emails, scrolling takes too long

Yes, please. This would save us so much time.

Basically when you are moving an email(s) the Move To Pane just shows all the folders fully expanded. For someone like me with many folders for organising I have to spend 5 minutes per email to find it's folder. It would also helped if you imported the webs feature where it gives a short recommended list based on where similar emails go. example power email goes in the power folder.

ability to search for folder name when trying to move emails to folders. currently,we have to scroll and search for the folder manually
You already have a folder search function but this seems to only be there for editing folder names. It would be very helpful to allow one to search for a folder name when archiving an email rather than having to manually select the folder or scroll through multiple folders after choosing to archive an email.

copy or move an email to particular folder is pathetic job in this app. Why it is pathetic because there is no FOLDER search option while moving email to folder.
so please introduce this feature ASAP.
The iOS version has the ability to search for folder to move an email to. Why is this not available in the Android version. It is a deal breaker for me. Please consider this seriously!

when moving an email to a folder you have to scroll through the entire folder list it should be possible to search for a foldername. outlook for iOS has this feature. please fix. not having this makes outlook not commercially usable on Android.

In the Android apps there is currently no possibility search the right folder through a search field. Example. I receive an email from Rachael, I read it and decide to move it into the folder < Rachael >. I have to scroll all the list of the folders until I find the required one. Whereas from the browser I can start typing the name of the folder to find it more quickly. Could you implement that in the Android apps? Thanks!

When moving mail to a folder add an option to search for the required folder instead of scrolling (sometimes it's almost endless)
