only reason I use Outlook is that my employer forces me to use it. If Outlook would support proper HTML format it would make having to leverage Outlook a bit better.

This should be a known issue as it has been reported many times. Outlook for Android does not display HTML emails. Please fix this as it almost defeats the purpose of having the app if you still need to use the web app just to read an email.

Our company is huge and just switched to outlook app. This is ridiculous. I mean hello MICROSOFT DO YOU EVEN CARE WHAT PEOPLE THINK? This has been an issue since the app first came out with tons of complaints. You shouldn't even call it outlook if it doesn't work like the PC version. It should be called Outlook Lite or some other **** so companies do not get fooled into adopting it.

Even my old Windows 10 Mobile had HTML format and much of the functions that the PC version had and was far superior to what the Android version is in 2020? I would love to have the same look and feel and features like that.

Send and receive HTML formatted emails.
Ability to customise the font style and size sent to match desktop app.
Bold, italics, colours and bullet points. All basic functions that need to be added also.

provide a "reading view" for HTML emails so you can easily read the content without having to constantly zoom and scroll left/right on small screens.

Rebuild the rendering engine from the ground up to have at last a modern rendering engine.

All the emails which are written as HTML are rendered as plain text format, instead render HTML

Also important for the Signature -- as it is now, we can't include formatting or company logo in our signature. That makes Outlook unacceptable to our business. We use Samsung Mail which integrates into Exchange nicely and supports proper formatting via HTML in messages. Outlook should do this natively too!

In many cases articles such as newsletter, or other rich text formats are displayed in original formatting and style. This makes them unreadable on small screens. Please render the text in a responsive way.

When I create a new email, my preset HTML signature appears just fine, but when I reply to an email, my signature loses all formatting applied to it. I also can't input an image in my signature via HTML. iOS has these functionalities, why doesnt Android?

No html formatting is a huge limitation forcing me to switch to another android email client. Shame as other than that I'd be quite satisfied with Outlook for Android.
