The Outlook.com app worked wonderfully, syncing with my outlook.com account. This replacement is frustrating, to be polite. Inbox notifications are very delayed! I haven't found how to sync my outlook.com account folders to this new app, they worked great on the old app. I chose an outlook.com account because I like the way it worked. I do not appreciate having it try to force me to work like googoo mail. I'm an adult and want a business type interface.

After a year trying to sync Desktop Outlook & Outlook.com frustrated that there is NO collaboration between Office Outlook Support & Web Outlook.com which is under the live.com department. I spent 1 day most weekends working to find the issue. I solved the problem when searched for non compatible characters. Such as a name that a company used to Email me some would have Doug & Melissa. This would be in the First or Last Name. If you remove the Doug & Melissa From this area and create an Organization with that Name it will sync. The character & in this example stops the sync. I hope this helps. virgoheart@msn.com.

I use Outlook exclusively for work so I really wish the cross device synchronization was faster and more accurate

I would like the option to sync with the outlook on my computer. Some of my email accounts do not actually sync with outlook. They download the mail and that's it. If there was a way to sync with the pc outlook it would make checking my email much easier. I wouldn't have to go through my mail on each device as the mail would be set as read on the other device.

The app doesn't update after reading, deleting, or taking any other action on messages viewd from website or other app.
The app just 'sees' the update when yhe user open it. -

If I delete emails on one device I don't want to see them again when I open app on another device which currently happens. I have tried a refresh on the second device but old deleted emails still display.

The old Outlook app was capable of marking an e-mail as read and removing the android notification of the same e-mail as soon as I opened it in my PC. The same thing happened when deleting an e-mail. Sadly, this "new" Outlook app can't sync those things and it's becoming really annoying. Besides that, if I receive several e-mails in a relatively short amount of time, the app only notifies me about the first e-mail received.

Everything the current mailbox having is fine but you just make view of it better. So it look significant. It should match the windows 10 version's TILE'S view and simple as that of the windows 7.
