Better Sync between Desktop and App
Eric Gildersleeve commented
O365 Synchronization poor syncing and Android app does not support all features, relies on Google contacts which loses or disconnects sync frequently. add native sync to Google and Apple in O365 environments so we do not need 3rd party services.

I have Outlook rules that go into subfolders but they never get pushed down to my Outlook mobile app. I have to go into the Outlook app and sync them by swiping down very inconvenient.

You already know your users have been asking for this for years and years.

syncing my Google contacts in the desktop version is a nightmare, here it was really easy! why not allow them to communicate?

Unable to see folder & Subfolder after migrating from GMAIL (IMAP) to OUTLOOK . The issue is reproduced only on ANDROID tablets and mobile phones. folder & Subfolder are viewable in Desktop and WEB BROWSER (any webbrowser & any device).; BUT in OUTLOOK APP in MOBILE/TABLET andriod.. Folders/SubFolders not visible. issue is reproducable
10 min to reproduce.Stuck with Support since 10 days, no ownership & responsibility. The support Gentleman only message in MIDNIGHT despite requesting him many times to work with me (07:00 to 22:00 any time). and only 1 message a night. ask me to do the same things again & again, I ask him the SR/Ticket number and manager details. never ersponds to that.
I have spoken to Desktop Support and requested to raise SR/ticket for mobile outlook support..1009446150

Even after syncing several times, messages which were deleted from a folder (mails are auto-added by sender name) on the desktop are kept in the Android app and are not removed

when I delete an email on my mobile app or on my tablet app, it does not delet from my desktop app. It just keeps on building up til I get so far behind on emails I have to take the time to sit and just delete emails. when it would be so much easier if I could just delete them as I read them on whatever device I was on at the time.

5 Years and still no progress!!! Repeat and total endorsement of the previous comment of 9/1/20: Hi. I have been working with you technical support division and is very disappointing that the synchronisation of all the Outlook components o Pop accounts is not possible in Office 365. It is certainly promoted as being possible. There is no mention of the need for An Exchange account or similar. It was this synchronisation feature which I was really looking for due to my frustration of synchronisation between Outlook on my laptops and Android platforms..
My frustration continues as does my disappointment!
One would have thought that synchronisation to Android platforms would have been a critical part of the development of 365 to start, with your customers not having to rely on inadequate third-party apps.
The lack of synchronisation also goes to my other laptop operating on Windows 10 which is also frustrating and very disappointing.
The whole idea of 365 is to be integrated seamlessly between devices and in fact it is not.
If you do have any suggestions as to how I can best arrange the full synchronisation of all the Outlook components between the laptops and Android I would be most grateful.
Better still would be to develop such synchronisation as part of 365 without having to use other apps and work arounds .
When you add a reminder on Outlook on desktop, it must be synced with the mobile Outlook app with the bell icon, not just a red flag.

It is not possible to use the email effective when it is impossible to double-click the title and come into a new window with the possibility to read the email and use page up and page down arrows! Also very bad is the reply-possibility as of now when it is not possible to see the email you are supposed to answer. I am so disappointed.
