View and edit shared calendars.
Hi Outlook users,
We’re excited to announce that the Outlook on Android application now supports shared calendars for Office365 and Outlook.com users!
If you already have a shared calendar, you’ll need to upgrade it so that it syncs to your mobile phone. It’s simple to do though: just ask the calendar owner to re-share the calendar to you, and then click the Accept button in the Outlook app. After accepting, you’ll be able to see the shared calendar on your mobile phone!
This feature is only available if both the calendar owner & the sharing recipient are hosted in Office365 or Outlook.com. And if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to the in-app support team by going to Settings > Help & Feedback> Contact Support and we’d be happy to help!

We have calendars for resources (Cars, Rooms, etc.). How can we find these in Outlook for Android?

I was using OWA app for the calendar function, but it's being retired.

I can't find any settings to view calendars that are shared with me, only to share my calendar with others.

This is a must have functionality. Now you are forced to have a separate calendar app next to the Outlook app.

My wife and I share our personal Google Calendars with each other.
In Outlook only my own personal Calendar is shown in the Calendar.
My wife only can see her personal calendar.
In any other Android Calender app both my own personal google calendar is shown AND the shared Google calendar from my wife.
I hope to see both the personal AND shared Google calendar in the Outlook Android app in the near future. Until then I am forced to use another calendar app next to Outlook.

Our institute (UCL Cancer Institute) use the outlook shared calenders for equipment booking and need to be able to add these calenders on android and iOS. I believe is a very necessary feature for all business users.

It's clear from the list of shared calendars such as meeting rooms (that I often view from my PC) showing on my mobile phone that it's possible to have shared calendars on the android however it's frustrating that the app logic has forced those I don't want (and defaulted them to show) while not giving me the option to select shared calendars that would be very useful to me.

I see all shared calendars on the app with no possibility to reduce the clutter.
I can uncheck shared calendars (and recheck when necessary) when I use the desktop version
viewing multiple calendars

It is not possible to create a work calendar for example in the app, or in web view. There must be the option to create new calendar categories easy and share the calendar with other members.

This feature used to be available in Outlook for Android but disappeared.
Calendars shared with outlook.com users are not able to be properely shared or viewed in the outlook android app. In addition, the Outlook 2016 windows software will only view the shared calendar and does not allow the modifying or creating of new items in the shared calendar. I think this is a fairly basic requirement to have working shared calendars, so please introduce this asap.
