I have 300 phones I need to copy manually. I would love to use all my contacts in GCL on our Android phones. If AD is the source of all truth it makes so much sense to have this working.

I would like for the Outlook app to display all of the GAL. At this point it only shows a few contacts on the initial page, and then your personal contacts under the "Show all"

why cant we have this option to include GAL in the contacts app on the phone. we have just moved to the latest Nokia 6.1 phones and everyone complains about not seeing who is phoning them even though all details are already held and regularly updated centrally. the only way is to create a contact that has the GAL details in it. then of course every who does this has two contacts in the full outlook program one for the GAL and the other a personal contact.

There is no option to add name if it's not found in the Contact list. This should be an easy fix??? Or am I missing something?

When viewing a contact card in an email or a corporate directory, allow it to be added to contacts (ideally in a selectable account)

Allow the user to type names of people that are not in local contacts/people in the Android Dialler and have search results from the Exchange/O365 GAL directly returned to allow them to select a number to call from the GAL. This feature exists in many 3rd party high start rating email clients for Android.

new people need to be added directly to Outlook contacts within the Android outlook app. People can be found via directory search, but selected person shall be stored directly into outlook contacts without using the website outlook.com

After contacting the Outlook help section I came to know that right now Outlook app doesn't support the feature for syncing the outlook exchange directories to host device. It only allows to sync the contacts which are saved under contacts section and not the global address list. Since a wide range of other email clients provide this feature, it would be really helpful to have this feature in Outlook app for the people like me who migrated from other email clients to Outlook app.

I need to see a person's office location so I can find them without having to call them, or visit the receptionist

This option is available for the iOS version of this app. It should also be implemented in the android version.
