Improve Contact Management
Add the ability to add / edit / delete contacts. Also be able to add a contact right from an email.
We highly appreciate your feedback you’ve given us about this feature. Good news: We’re close to releasing it on Android. You can get a sneak preview here: https://blogs.office.com/2017/06/05/improving-people-in-outlook-for-ios-and-android/
Thanks for your patience as we make the final touches!
All the best
The Outlook Mobile Team
PS: Please use the Help Section of the app for any questions, we are not able to see replies to this address.

If I only have one contact with the name, 'Mom', then I expect when I search contacts for 'Mom', that contact should be at the top of the list. As opposed to every random contact where I have a note about someone else's Mom, being shown, and having to scroll through dozens of contacts that I didn't even ask for. Name search should take priority over note search AND be displayed first when a search is made.

Make it EASY
It would be very convinient and efficient for us to manage our contacts directly within the Outlook Android App with full sync capabilities to our other devices. In the point of now we always have to switch to the Outlook webapp.

Accessing Outlook contacts from Android app using search feature only shows email addresses. Please make Outlook contacts information fully accessible from the app. Also, please make phone numbers and other data functional (either copy to clipboard and paste into other app, or click on phone number to call, or click email to send email). Also, please make contact information editable from app. Would like to be able to access full contact list (2000+ contacts) within app, it is having trouble creating a list, perhaps due to number of contacts? Thank you!

Not having a proper Contact module within Outlook to mange / edit contacts is the single most annoying thing about this app. It drives me crazy and seems both inefficient and old fashioned.

This catagory you call it People, in the outlook Search you call it Contacts. Please pick one!
Second, we need to see more detail. You can add contacts from the search tab (not easy to find) but when done you dont see or can see the full info you just entered. And if you entered a contact by phone number only you dont see them if they have no email in this app.
Give us full Contacts/People

This seems like a great idea.

Please add a plus button next to the receiver list that can select email address only from known contacts and not from all seen email address.

I don't have emails saved from this sender in either my inbox or sent items. I don't have their contact details saved to my contacts. And yet they still show as a contact in search. Either by recognising that historically something has been sent to them or by having been saved somewhere. I want the ability to delete a contact and have no prompt to their email address in the future. i.e. I don't want to ever be in contact with them again or keep having their name pop up.
A shame we cannot manage contacts via the app in 2019.
