I am told certain words like "junk" and symbols like "//" are not allowed on Outlook folders. But I no longer have a laptop and I am not allowed to make these Requested Corrections using my only mobile "smartphone"! How long do we have to wait on software writers!

Sort and delete folders
Please can we have the ability to delete folders that we don't use anymore?
It would be great to have the ability to 'COLLAPSE' FOLDERS' in the folder list. I have a long list of folders and sub-folders and it is difficult and annoying to have to scroll through my whole list to find a folder I am looking for.

When I have an email from a client, there are times that I would like to be able to separate them and place that email into a new folder under their name. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any option for this to happen.

I think the mobile app should allow all the features and functions that you get when using a PC to be able to manage the acct. I don't own a computer..

Currently the app, once closed, will return to the last folder used when restarted. For example, if I clear my Deleted Items folder and close the app, the app will return to the Deleted Items folder when restarted. I would prefer to go to the Inbox folder when the app starts.

Using the outlook win32 app you can move folders as you wish, so you could take a folder under inbox and move to the root mailbox folder (email@example.com)
Our company has setup retention policies for mailbox folders and overall mailbox and to keep emails longer than one year, folders need to be moved from under inbox folder to root mailbox folder.
this is easy to do if one has the fat outlook client, but I realise using outlook Web client or even outlook mobile apps , it is impossible to do so. Please provide full functionality to mobile and web app as we have us ers who only access mailbox via webapp or mobile apps.

I have an Android Smart Phone, my Outlook App provides all my Folders, from all my accounts.
I love that I have access to all my folders from all my accounts, however, my "Folders List", has become very long, when I see duplicate folders, (for the sake of time, I tell myself, "later, I will fix this", by-the-end-of-the-day, I would forget.
Provided that the option to delete a folder, and check for duplicate folders/files were available, I wouldn't wait for later to delete any Duplicate folders/files, once I find one, I would instantly check the duplicate folders feature - check the contents of the duplicate folders if they are the same same, then take action accordingly, (right at my finger tips), and to do the work would take no more than 5-10 minutes, allowing more time for work, a sense of satisfaction, lessen stress and anxiety. And most importantly as a MSN customer I know it would live up to the excellent customer satisfaction MicroSoft Network offers.

So what taking do long? It's been 4.5 years. It's annoying to have folders that are empty and taking up space since half the companies went out of business I don't need those folders anymore and it's annoying to look at them so you're telling me that you had this comment July 2015 how hard can it be we can send people to the Moon but we can't delete folders that are useless and obsolete in the male area? Maybe less millions for the CEO and more on finding a cure for delete options for folders that are obsolete.
