Simplified Folder Navigation
Easier navigation to and between folders. Including collapsing folders easily.
I have hundreds of folders, when I open outlook from the mobile app they are all open unlike the web or pc client. Until you can set all folders to start closed I'll continue to use Gmail only as a mobile app.

Sub folders on the Outlook mobile app are always collapsed so all sub folders can be seen. I can't reverse this so when filing emails I have to scroll through hundreds of sub folders. This is a really inefficient way of working, it would be much better if they started compact with the ootion to look at drop down folders like they do on the PC version.

I have many folders, sub-folders, etc. and all of the folders & sub-folders are shown. why can't Outlook for Android be the same as the Outlook on my desktop at home.

we have too many folder inside the "Inbox" folder, each new email arrived it's annoying to choose 'move to folder' since there are too many folder and it requires much scrolling. pls, fix it! we need an option to have or not the folder structure collapsed!

I have to scroll too much trying to find certain outlook file folders
I posted a separate idea that is not related to this thread, and sadly, someone has merged it into this thread. Please unmerge it.
The idea was "Expand/collapse items of e-mail thread" with the comment "Each email sent or received should be collapsed, except for most recent unread ones. Any email in the thread should be able to be expanded or collapsed."

Possibility to close folders similar to Outlook2013.
Each email sent or received should be collapsed, except for most recent unread ones. Any email in the thread should be able to be expanded or collapsed.
Unlike email app of Samsung, when moving emails into folders, there is no history of at least 10 last folders that I have moved to.

Trying to press the menu button with a right thumb often ends up with accidental switching to the calendar tab (Palm touch). Could you rethink your interface to allow switching between folders easy - eg. by swipe over favorites or so?
it is very hard to scroll through numerous sub folders to file emails in this app - so much so that I wait till I am at a PC before doing any filing.

The folders need to be shown just like the desktop apps, in a folder tree structure collapsed to its highest level, then you can expand as required. With the current setup having all folder and levels of sub folders all expanded makes it very tedious when moving emails from the inbox.

auto minimizing all email folder directories (while moving an email into a folder) would make the app easier to use. currently there is no option to minimize email folder directories while moving an email into a folder.
Hello, I would like for the futur upgrade, of duplicate the system outlook for windows with

Allow to collapes subfolders like we can in regular Outlook programs.
folders in the navigation menu are automatically expanded and it makes it very difficult to navigate if a user has many, many folders. Allowing for the folders to be collapsed like normal Outlook (or any other mail app, for that matter) will help navigation.
