es to events. or when I can't categorize emails or sort by categories. I live and breathe by my categories, kids, family, spouse, personal, coupons, tickets, work, career, home, friends, and school. so frustrating to be unable to manage my calendar and email during wait times. stuck doing my best then doing it all again at night on a computer.

add category functionality just as in option on desktop.
Enable syncronization of email colors categories (name and colors) between Exchange and Outlook Mobile
it shall be possible to assign categories to emails within the app same as it is possible on the desktop version

I love that Category colours are now appearing in my Outlook for Android Calendar - But only if they have been created on my Windows laptop. A new entry on Android doesn't offer category choice (unless I create it via office.com, which is more laborious).

I used to extensively use labels in Gmail. Once I moved to Outlook, I found that the only thing I miss for better organization are the categories on the mobile apps. I can use them on the browser, but Android and iOS lack any categorization other than copying/moving to folders, and flagging, which I don't like as much. The apps don't even show the categories you set in the browser. Color labelling the categories helps me really much to see what's what. Thank you!

I would like to be able to view and use categories for email messages like in the Outlook web interface or outlook local client. Not sure why third party exchange clients can do this, but the official Outlook mobile app cannot.

Display category markers that have already been assigned to emails. Add the ability to assign categories to emails. I need my color coding back!

Even if category colors were not supported, being able to categorize an appointment on my phone so it would show up on my desktop version of Outlook would save time.

Ok, my dogfood release shows categories now. awesome! 👍 But I can't edit them in outlook mobile yet. Please add that too!

we should be able to use categories on the Android app. it is extremely useful when using the PC version of outlook but really a major problem that we can't use it on the Android app especially when you have many contacts

add the categorize feature for the Android app and integrate categorize with folders or atleast color code the folders.

I'm one of many users of both the desktop app and an Android phone we use categories to indicate the status of bookings been clear and precise colour codes these are missing from the Android app and the status shows as completed by the admin on this system

Please add support for categories. I use them a lot in the desktop app, so when I am using Outlook mobile I can neither archive mails to their correct category nor find the mails I want.
Folders are 20th century, labels aka categories rule!

Why this wasn't still added? Seems like such a basic request that interfere to all users workflow. From my knowledge in software engineer it is also fairly simple to add it.
I believe many people enjoy the Gmail label function like I do and heavily depends on it, as it does make it very flexible and efficient in searching for desired results which fall into different "labels" or "categories." Moreover, it makes the mail management more flexible.
Therefore I'd like to suggest adding "category" in Outlook mobile just like Gmail "label" to improve mail management and search results.
