The mails I categorize in my laptop aren't available in the mobile app version. It wastes a lot of my time and it's not productive to have to login into laptop all the time. Isn't the point of mobile app to makes things easily accessible on the fly?

This is an essential feature that needs to be implemented!

Calendars that rely heavily on the categories in Outlook have a problem on the app, as you can not set the category for calendar events in there. That feature should be included to make the Android app match the other platform versions.

The fact this has been under review for five years sure makes it seem like Microsoft has forgotten about this feedback channel. Use Nine mail if you can, it's a far superior app for exchange mail.

Being able to name and customize one's own categories would be great. It would be more focus oriented. Add a span folder as well for every account instead of just the Gmail accounts. Better yet, make every category the same for all accounts (at your whim, of course. modifiable labels would be ideal, too.), since they're unique to each account type.

As a mobile worker, I need the ability to add, remove categories to my Calendar entries or my mails. Outlook on Web and on my PC allows this since years. its annoying that I can only see the category, which I used on PC, but can't add to other Entrys on my Phone App.

in the android version when you create or edit an event in the calendar, you cannot add or modify categories at all. if category was assigned on the desktop, it will show, but can't edit it. if newly added, can't adding category at all

Complete funtional parity with outlook.co
Why has this been "Under Review" for over 5 years?
Surely it can't take that long to do a logical enhancement that seems to be desired by many users.

When we create a folder or sub folder in the phone version, it automatically gets added to the end of the list, when it really might need to go under a root folder that we had already created. Eg: A Root folder I created and named "Online Shopping" might contain sub folders named 'Amazon', 'eBay' etc. However, if I later want to create another sub folder named 'Appliance Warehouse' it will be added as a root folder at the end of all the other folders list and not where I would want it (in "Online Shopping").
Custom categorizing is only possible on PC but not on phones.
need color category in Outlook for Android
