I checked and the issue seem to be fixed now for my android app view as well but what bothers me is that I cannot find the announcement of the provided fix anywhere. The announcement of this getting fixed should have been yelled from the rooftops because it has been that big of an issue for many...

Stop closing these tasks, support is specifically asking us to raise them here and you keep closing them without fixing the problem. Are you insane or what is happening? Fix the week numbers for 2021 so we can use the function. Stop ignoring us.

I have tried resetting the account in the app - it did not work
I have tried deleting and re-adding the account - it did not work.
The calender in the Outlook for android app still shows week number 2 when it should have been showing week number 1. -

In Denmark week 1 started on Monday the 4th of January (as well as in most European countries). If it isn't possible to connect calendar "rules" to a country/time zone then it should be possible to change the week numbers manually!

your app does not comply to ISO 8601, which is very clearly a bug that should be fixed ASAP!

For the desktop version you can go into the settings, select calendar and look under "Work Time" you should see a drop down menu for "Frist Week of Year". You can change this from Jan 1 to "First 4-Day week" to get Outlook to count week 53 in 2020 and start week 1, 2021 from Jan 3rd. Not sure if it's the same for the android app.

My suggesiton was merged with a closed case, but the problem does still exist.
The calender shows the wrong week number. -

Why is this case closed?
It is not fixed yet -

week 53 is missing in the calender, and now it shows the wrong week number. it says it is week 2 when it really is week 1.

Come on Microsoft. Please FIX THIS BUG ASAP!
It's similar bug as if your clock would have only 23 hours because Americans use different system than the rest of the world.
This bug makes your app unusable. This small thing will result in people (including myself) stop using the otherwise good Outlook app.
PLEASE FIX THIS BUG!!!

This issue has also caused some confusion in our company, as certain people have been planning using the wrong week numbers in Outlook on Android, which was not aligned with week numbers in Web-based Outlook. This seems to be a real cause of mis-communication, when one Outlook version is not compatible with another Outlook version.
A fix would be much appreciated. Thanks,
