When drafting an email, the cursor should default to the "to" line, not the body text section.

This is extremely annoying. There should be a fix to this. What do we need to do to get this problem corrected?
I can't begin to tell you just how inconvenient it is to have to manually go back to the recipient section.
Just started happening to me yesterday. This is super annoying...
Same here! Suddenly the cursor starting landing in the body (when I press New Message) instead of the TO field. Inefficient AND frustrating
This is still happening, extremely frustrating. Is there anything I can do to fix this????
Would you ever fix this? This is just so annoying...it should only happen while replying to a mail. This is a BUG

This (the cursor jumping to the message body and not letting me address the email first) is a major annoyance. Please fix this.

when composing new emails from my phone, it would be nice if the starting point is the email address section, and not the body.

activate the address line and not the text line, when Use outlook by sharing web side from the any browser, for example

Why is this marked as "Completed"? What does that mean?
Yosarin Z commented
When composing a new email the cursor jumps to the body of the email rather than starting in the To or even Subject fields.

Don't jump to the body of the email when composing a new email. Make it an option for the user. When I write an email I, type the address(es) first and then write the body of the email. Some people might prefer it the other way so make it an option.
Outlook, is there a fix or not? If there is a fix then post it, not sure why you are suggesting we need to go via Settings > Help and Feedback > Contact Support
At some stage the New Mail button changed from starting with the cursor in the To block and instead putting the cursor in the body. What makes it worse is that it starts in To then jumps to body so as I start typing the recipient, it fills it in the body
