Appointments crested with categories on a pc show up in ad Android with a tag but there's no ability to add or edit tags once you're in Android...would be a handy feature to save having to back to your pc to recategorise everything after you've added it on the phone.

If you have been tagged in the e-mail, it should be indicated on the notification. Then you can see if you have been mentioned somewhere in the message.
Similar to the @ that is shown on the message in the mailbox.

when you use outlook in a web browser, you can create tags, add them to emails and search them.
make those tags visible and searchable in the Android app

Tagging needs to be possible on mobile. I can add tags to events on the desktop client, and the mobile client can shown it, but I can't edit or add tags to events on mobile!

have tag capabilities. you call the categories but you really need to make it look like tag and behave like tags (type a few letters and tags/categories previously entered appear
My mobile app cannot allow me adding a tag on events. If I edit a tag on the event via laptop client app, I can see it on my mobile showing a rich tag field.
