let me set up the syncing. I would love to have it sync only when I open the app only...not 24/7

Please allow logging out so it doesn't retrieve email every minute or 5. It's draining my battery. Other apps allow this.

To save batter, it should be nice to configure for each account when check for new mail
Add a sync period, sync folder options to account settings then sync that account to those settings. This way folders won't show up empty and you have to wait for the email to show up.

As Gmail permits, for example, "synchronize the alst 30 days of Inbox to my phone".
Currently outlook is using over 1.1GB of my storage which is obscene.

app: Outlook Mobile for Android
Periodically pull for emsil rather that continuously which is the default behaviour. I find this consumes more battery and for example I dont need my phone to ping or light up at night when I am asleep and receive an email.
1. polling interval for emails
2. have different polling intervals for different times (e.g. day/night)?
Add ability to sync emails to previous week or month. Add ability to un sync emails.
Sync settings isn't possible to change which appears to be constantly synching killing the battery. It's been a known issue for over a year and still no fix... Only use this app because it's required by work or this would have been installed 1 hour after installing!
