Turning notifications on or off for different folders.
In addition to the current notification options, more customization is needed. There should be a list of folders where we can turn the notifications on or off for any folder.

Let me specify the notification settings folder. I am using a function that automatically classifies my address into the folder I designated if the received mail contains my address. This folder is important to me. Why does Google set its own notification criteria? I want to see an e-mail that I consider serious So please add an option to select a folder

I have more than dosen rules which are storing mails in different folders. I would like to have notification when a message comes to specific folder. It would be nice to choose for which folders I get and for which I don't get notifications. Some mail clients have these options

For example, I have a folder name "A" receiving mails form "A" directly into that folder.when "A" sends a mail, A notification would immediately be poped up to flash in in order to prioritize it.

I created my personal folder (for banking stuff). All emails from certain email addresses are filtered to this created folder. But when I receive email (which is filtered to this personal folder ) I won't get notification. I only get notification from my Main (Received) Folder.
I would like to see a feature about setting notifications from certain folders.

I use several folders and rules to sort my emails when I receive them. But I have to manually check if I received something for each folder as there is no notifications or automatic refresh.

In alternate email clients, such as Gmail, Nine, or Touchdown, it is possible to go through and assign notification preferences on a folder-by-folder basis. For example, turn on notifications for your inbox as well as the folder that all emails from your manager automatically route to, but not the folder which automated emails are routed to (e.g., service request updates, all-clear confirmations, etc.).
