The current contact card, inside the android outlook app, has several flaws that need to be fixed. If this is done we might not need an entirely separate app.
1) As this original post states, let the grouping be persistent across all versions of Outlook. If I make groups in the desktop Outlook or online Outlook they should sync to all other versions including Android Outlook.
Anything done on one version should reflect across all versions. Especially if I make the changes online. Since all versions draw their info from the online clouded version it is surprising that changes, such as grouping, made their doesn't reflect on all versions.
2) The current contact list is not searchable. Once you are in the contact list all you can do is scroll through the entire list to find a name.
There needs to be a robust search function that searches through all of the fields that the contact card allows.
3) It doesn't update properly. It doesn't show the person's contact picture, phone number, email address, Ect once added to the contact. It simply shows the circle with their initials. To see the proper information I actually have to open the contact in edit mode.
Once on a contact card it should show all information, in an organized manner, without the need to enter editing mode.
Please consider implementing these changes asap. Most aren't complaining about it because they most likely just gave up and started using something else. The current integrated contact feature is just that counter-productive. It's really bad!
