Don't hide the REAL email address of the sender. Outlook only shows a coloured circle with a letter, dangerous spams are hidden this way.
Dangerous spams use a false but trusted looking address as name. The real address that actually shows its a spam is hidden behind a useless coloured circle in outlook.

gmail constantly helping phishing scams get through to your email inbox. i should also be able to add that sender domain type to spam filter. usually bots sending them from multiple email address that have similar domain.

MS wants you to become infected. It is their way. Reading pane on by default, took out the functionality of Defender, but told everyone that just got thier control devices bricked because MS was worried someone might install a virus through your keyboard port. Kill Bill was the best movie ever made.

my subscribed newsletters keep being sent to spam/junk folder even when I've taken action from the sender, every as recently as the day before.
I've tried adding sender to contact list, continues to occur daily.
I'm missed many important items as a result. Especially when they've been time sensitive notices.
yet the actual spam is continuing to arrive daily.
for some unknown reason I'm not always able to find the folder

Sometimes spam poses as a legitimate email and the only way to know is by seeing the address. I am afraid to click into emails from contacts listed as real sites like "paypal" because I have been sent spam that is just copy and pasted from legitimate emails they would send out. They set their contact name to the name of the site or service to pass through systems like the one currently used. please add an option to show the full address of the sender BEFORE the email is clicked.

Don't understand why you have done this. Most users l know are capable of recognising spam emails. Others will be wary of anything they can't recognise.

110% this. We need to see all the things that could indicate a scam, you get them on a desktop. I'd want to preview links as well.

I'm an IT Professional and I've nearly been caught out by one. It was relating to PayPal, claiming my account had unusual activity. It's only when I pressed the link, I noticed that the web address was incorrect.
The mail was a clone of what PayPal would send, just with the links changed. The dead giveaway would have been the E-mail address which was hidden. Which was a standard Gmail account.
