Don't hide the REAL email address of the sender. Outlook only shows a coloured circle with a letter, dangerous spams are hidden this way.
Dangerous spams use a false but trusted looking address as name. The real address that actually shows its a spam is hidden behind a useless coloured circle in outlook.

why is outlook propagating obvious scams and then aiding and abetting them by not taking action against them?

I agree, I always check email addresses in any mail that I am unsure about, unless I am really busy or stressed, then sometimes I forget, this is dangerous. Most especially for those people who are not tech savvy. I used to be the sole level 3 sap support person as well as configuring all the access profiles for internal employee access for one of the BIG 4 banks in Australia. So I know about security.

I agree that sender address should be able to be seen completely. Even in portrait mode. Sometimes the addresses are so long they are cut off with a "...". In this instant I think function should prevail over form in the name of security, this show the complete address, for verification purposes. Is more professional this way. Certainly from an app like outlook, that one expects.

we need to be able to cut and paste email addresses. Someone you want to send an email you have to an address you have just received an email from.. you can't, which is pretty fundamental
need to be able to block spam mail easily!
Was about to suggest that myself. The fact that this feature, i.e. showing the sender's e-mail address, is missing makes me consider not using this app even though it works nicely with our exchange server at work.
