Do not make this the default. It is the most ridiculous advertisement. It is added to your message when you are already using Outlook for Android, and sent to people who may not even have an Android device. It should not be the default.

@admin I am not satisfied with the answer. The problem is not that I am not able to change it in the setting. The problem is that if every person is changing the signature by looking at this, then why don't you take this as a feedback that no one liked it in the first place itself. Why don't you remove it entirely. I hope you are understanding what I am trying to say. This is simply the violation of user data. A person was just sending a message with string S and you modified it to A + "Get outlookforandroid".

This is not the way to publicize a product. You can't update the content of an user message by giving a default signature. I was wishing a person congratulations by replying on a thread, and when the message was sent it's congratulations and next line get outlookforandroid. This is the worst experience and embarassing for an user. And not just me I don't think anyone keep this default message, they just go and change the setting. So if so many user don't like this why this is in the design. Just don't put anything in default signature, put empty string.

I have been trying for an hour using these and other instructions. Can I pay someone to help me with this?

The problem isn't that you can't set it (we already knew you could). The problem is that the *default* is an advertisement, which is beneath a great company like Microsoft.

That's not how you change the default signature. That's how you change the signature. The point of this suggestion is to make the DEFAULT signature empty.

This spamming of my Outlook runs in direct opposition to Microsoft's stated vision, to "empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more".
Every time I have to go in after an update and fix the signature on Outlook for Android Microsoft is consuming my productive time and helping me achieve less.
