custom schedule for do not disturb
I'd like to be able to set my own schedule for do not disturb and not be limited by the current options

Please allow for custom time and day settings for the DND feature. Right now the settings aren't flexible enough to adjust to different schedules, work weeks and so on.
I'd like to be able to turn on Do Not Disturb during the weekday as well. right now there is only the toggle for after work Friday-Monday, I'd like that for every day.

make a custom do not disturb time setting because I work at times other than the ones you list.
Please add this feature! I use both Microsoft Teams and Outlook for work and the former already has a customizable Do Not Disturb setting. This feature would be GREAT!
Stacy Lancaster commented
as stated, allow customization of DND times

Do not disturb settings need more options.
Add out of office time modification option with time, days of the week settings.

In my opinion, it's not enough to have temporary DND function. I want work emails to automatically stop every day when I go home at 5pm! So a scheduled DND not just for during work hours, but also non-work hours!

I want that, I should have an option to stop the email syncing in a customize way. Like, I can stop sync during non-working hour and weekend. The email sync and notification will only work working hours. i.e 9am to 7pm...

I like vibrate notifications on my emails, but I have to keep them disabled because I often get emails at 7-8am when I'm still asleep. My phone's settings do not have a scheduled do-not-disturb that triggers every night, so it would be a nice feature in the Outlook app.

This missing schedule option lets me look out for alternative mailing apps
Having the option to set custom timings for notifications would be a big plus, as many people have mentioned other Microsoft mobile apps have this functionality why can't the Outlook app
Need to turn off notifications when I am not at work (i.e. When I am asleep). Current options are not suitable as they need to be set each night or are for wrong time period. Need to be able to set start and end times for each period. Could set acceptable working day starts and finish time and by default messages received outside of this time are silent unless they meet other set criteria (content, sender or combination).
Could allow limited degree of notification e.g. Led light flash ok but no sounder.
Messages would still be downloaded on device ready to read if required.

I'd like an option for automatic do not disturb for custom hours. I'd like to be able to set which days and times I want dnd on. If that's not possible, I'd like an option for non work hours, 6pm to 8am on weekdays.
I need a do not disturb for outside of my office hours, not during.
at the moment there is only a do not disturb option for during business hours, weekends, and then manually day to day. please insert a feature for DND after hours Monday to Friday as well.
Stephen Verstraete commented
you can manually snooze this, but that isn't a complete feature.
Teams app has this and Slack does it well too. Why is there a do not disturb setting for day time but not for nighttime.
since I use Outlook for my work email, I don't need do not disturb for during work hours, but would like to have it for after work hours in the evening. the weekend setting is good, but not enough
Alex Tyler commented
Not everyone has weekends off, it would be helpful to add more flexibility to Do Not Disturb.
There is another post for this feature that is marked completed, but this feature has NOT been implemented.
This is a request for automatic DnD during AFTER HOURS (non-work hours on work days).
The only currently available options for automatic DnD are
* during events
* during work hours (great if you use Outlook for personal email but not work email)
* weekends (great if you mainly use Outlook for work and want your weekends free from work intrusion)
Many folks who use Outlook for work want their weekday evenings, overnight, and early mornings free from work intrusions as well. An option for setting automatic DnD "after hours" on weekdays would make it easier to concentrate on family for dinner, evenings, and have boundaries first thing in the morning.
Everybody has that colleague who either has a very different schedule or no boundaries between work and home life, and thinks it's appropriate to send work emails at midnight, or 6am. If you're not that no-boundaries colleague, it can be intrusive and problematic to have notifications for work emails up when you're trying to silence your wake up alarm, before you've had your coffee (or morning run, or whatever).
Also, the desktop and web versions allow users to set custom work hours. If the app won't allow that option it really should at least refer to those custom hours.
