delete all button
delete a large quantity of emails instead of having to do so individually. save so much time.
Thank you for using Outlook Mobile and sharing your ideas with us. We really appreciate your support.
There are a few quick and easy way to delete emails from the Outlook app.
1. Delete button in reading view.
Simply tap on the “trash” icon on the upper right corner of the screen to delete the email that’s currently open.
2. Swipe to delete.
Swipe the email to the left. By default, this will archive the email. However, you can customize Swipe Options in the Settings and change the action to Delete.
3. Bulk delete.
This is very useful when you want to delete multiple emails at once. To do this, long press on an email until a checkmark appears at the left of it. Once you’ve selected multiple emails, you’ll then be able to perform the following actions: deleting, marking as read, archiving. A “Select All” option will also appear in the top right corner.
Having trouble finding the feature? Let us know through the Help section of the app in the Settings. We’re here to help.
Thank you again for your support, we look forward to hearing more of your ideas very soon.
All the best

only works with emails that are visable on the screen. minimize your window to delete more at once. Really bizarre hack...

really annoying when you have spent 20 mins selecting a ton of emails to delete and then accidently brush tap in the wrong place and have to start again

Does not work. Can delete no more than about 5 emails at a time

this does not work if you have sorted the emails by sender. if I get a lot of emails from one provider, I want to select just those ones to delete by doing a search, and then bulk delete.

Select all is not enough! add select all from sender and the option to "do this from now on"

If I search emails with any keyword, select multiple emails option is not available. In absence of this, I couldn't move or delete the bulk emails.

Make it MUCH easier. Select a sender - chose delete all messages from sender.
deleting one by one is a pain. need to group delete without having to select each item.

I have specific groups in contacts that don't translate to outlook for group emailing. At the moment I have to select the people individually

Yes, the ability to filter the Deleted Items folder and do a Delete All is needed.

Don't want to have to select each email separately and then bulk delete. Want to apply filter then select Delete All
