Enable editing of calendar events even if they were originally created via another device
I find I cannot edit a calendar event in Outlook for Android unless it was created in Outlook for Android. Instead I have to go to my PC or to an iPhone
Outlook syncs with Google Calendar, so the calendar events can be viewed. However, there's no functionality to edit the Google Calendar using Outlook. There should be functionality for adding, deleting and editing your Google calendar events, tasks and reminders.

A link handler would be registered by the App to start automatically with the Add Event screen when following Link is clicked on any website:
This is what Google offers:

Allow editing of an event property (time/notes/etc) with one tap from the event screen.
Current flow: Tap event, tap edit, tap property to be edited, make desired changes.
Suggested flow: Tap event, tap property to be edited, make desired changes.
It's a small inconvenience but it makes a difference when editing events is done frequently.
The small things add up to a streamlined experience and this would put you ahead of most calendar solutions other than Apple Calendar.

allow the editing of events to be saved in Outlook Mobile. Would be a great feature.
The app doesn't allow the editing of Exchange calendar events. This should be fixed as soon as possible.

full editing of all calendar events. it is frustrating that I do not have access to ALL fields and must wait to make updates from my laptop. I give outlook on my phone a zero out of ten.

The Outlook app is unable to edit entries in my calendar created on outlook.Com or imported calendar... I need to login again to live.com and edit the same and the problem persists.
Can't you change this

Two android phones in our household,, a Galaxy A5 and a new Galaxy A8, both on Android 7.1.1, and both running Outlook 2.2.197. Neither can make changes to any appointment or event once created, regardless of where it was created. You can click the "pencil" to edit the event, make changes, and save. The changes do not show in the calendar on the phone or web. Once you have attempted a change Outlook for Android keeps popping up a dialog saying "Updating event...".

Today is only possible to create events on default calendar, but it should be possible to create on anyone configured, from any account.

If I create an event and go back to edit, there are two features that are disabled. When the event is first being created I have the option of choosing which calendar I wish to place it, and if I wish to make it a reoccurring event. Once the event has been saved and I go back to edit these features are not available and I have to delete the event and recreate it to make changes.
I can edit events on Galaxy 8 plus and Galaxy J7 created in Outlook Webmail but not those created in Outlook 365 on my PC
