in addition to the 'share' option, can you add an option to save, maybe additionally specifying to device or SD card?

Please allow photos to be made as an attachment instead of embedded in the email. This is too important to retain the original resolution of the photos that I will be sending to others from my Android phone. I can make a photo attachment from Windows and ipad, but not on Android.

Currently there is no way to download an embedded photo (which Outlook does for default rather than as an attachment). Currently you can only view the image. You could potentially share it to onedrive but there is no option to download to the phones gallery. In the ios version there is an actual download button that allows you to save the file

I have the option enabled to block all embedded pictures, to block tracking pictures.
Now I have to download the pictures in emails from trusted senders every time I receive an email. Why not break it down into two options: 'Download pictures just once.' and 'Always download pictures from this sender automatically.' -

some photos do not download at all. Others will only download to a virtual folder which is not accessible outside of Outlook.

seems that me that is something pretty basic. Can't believe we are in 2020 and a email app can't do this

When someone sends pictures to me over email, then often they show up as embedded (can see them in Outlook email) but Outlook doesn't let me save them. Seems pretty silly since they're right there and I can see they came through.

Claims that this feature has already been added are greatly exaggerated. It doesn't exist.
If it is there, one would think it would be easier to find.
Please either add this most basic of features or unhide it.

There is no easy way to save pictures sent inside an email and not as an attachment. Gmail I can select the picture by right clicking and an option menu appears where I can choose to save the image.

This is so frustrating to have Outlook strip the company logo pic from outgoing or incoming emails. same with embedded pics from websites.

When sharing pictures using the Outlook app, they become embedded in the email body. There appears to be no way to save these pictures when you receive them

There were a whole bunch of suggestions that have been marked completed by Microsoft. Quite frustrating when it seems like the tech support responsible for those responses didn't even bother to fully read into the issue.
We still can't save images that are embedded into the body of an email.
Solutions provided by Microsoft only work for attached images that are not embedded into the body. -

Not completed. You can't save an embedded image from the body of an email. Solution only works for attached images.

This doesn't work yet. You can't save an image that was embedded into the body of the email.
