Lots of disaffected Inbox users are looking for an alternative. Offer categories to help sort through emails

if email comes from a particular company or individual it will automatically put a copy of the email into specially created folder for set company or individual based on emial addresses. that way I can go to the folder and never miss emails from VIPs because they have been barried under 100s of useless emails.

different from categorizing an email, this allows an email to appear in more than once folder.
Focused does not filter well. Not seeing emails I want to, seeing some I don't.

I want to be able to swipe left on an email and then get multiple icons to I can choose to archive, delete, label, mark as read. One function for swipe left and one for swipe right is not enough. Badly need to integrate labels, or I'm going back to Gmail app soon. Thank you.
put emails into groups

use machine learning to decipher what is important for users, what replies are we returning, what mails are we initiating, what could be business critical mails, where we have not replied and business or friend could be waiting for an answer

Have a third tab labelled "social" as Twitter and Facebook feeds do not belong in focused. we get the notifications 20 other ways, we don't went them in our main list of emails.

It would have been nicer If all advertisements were automatically classified into a different folder or marked in a specific color for easy access to other important mails
