Add the contacts icon on the bottom navigation bar.
The new version removed the contacts icon for the search icon but when I search I don't always get the contact I am looking for even if it's in my contacts. Then clicking on the contacts it sends me to the list where I can not search anymore, I have to scroll, the previous version was much more intuitive

Outlook mobile had a people section that let me search our directory without having to sync contacts. I would like to see that feature come back to Outlook Mobile app

no access to contacts is silly... put the command line contacts button back.
Scott Berfield commented
there used to be a tab/button to access contacts. it's gone. it was useful and I would like to get it back.
Tony Morris commented
put the contacts button back. the search feature is rubbish and a stupid idea. No one asked for this!
I'd like to select contacts then see a list, scroll to contact or type first letters or numbers of contact. This is how other contacts lists work and is good.

access to all contacts the way it was prior to this last upgrade. it is extremely difficult to find the full contact record on an Android now. I don't need to see the multiple times I've contacted a person. when I look up a contact I want to see full name, all phone numbers I gave on the record and the mailing addresses I have on the record, just like you had in the app prior to this last update

whomever thought that burying my contacts under a search function and not having the app mirror the desktop experience of a mail view, a contacts view, and a calendar view missed the mark big time.
Oliver Sahr commented
Please bring back the contacts button.
The search button should also be visible, where is the problem so see 4 buttons?
Simon Jones commented
I don't want a pile of other things when searching for a contact.
I don't want an extra click to let me see my contacts.
I don't want to search when I want a contact so taping a search icon is not intuitive.

Outlook for Android needs some proper time and money spent on it. desktop Outlook is great.

Yes revert navigate bar back to having contacts, like to was, was easy and simple now is crazy
Alex Button commented
Why would you remove this, was simple now is under search and a arrow across to contacts, please revert to bottom menu
John Saunders commented
Bring back the contacts features
Walter Pierce MD commented
You need this clarified? That defines the problem.
Graham Simons commented

Restore the People icon. Restore the People icon.

People icon is gone

I used this feature allot for quick lookup. now I am forced to go to death for contacts
Bert Vongpaisal commented
Burying the ability to get to your contacts using the search option is not intuitive. There should be a dedicated Contacts button on the bottom nav bar to make it easier to get to and scroll through my contacts.
