Add the contacts icon on the bottom navigation bar.
The new version removed the contacts icon for the search icon but when I search I don't always get the contact I am looking for even if it's in my contacts. Then clicking on the contacts it sends me to the list where I can not search anymore, I have to scroll, the previous version was much more intuitive

ich nutze die Kontakte-App von Android und speichere sie in Google. Wechseln möchte ich mit meinen Kontakten nicht da der Export/Import immer Fehler in den Komtakten prodiziert.

Hi, i love outlook.
But why isn't there a Contacts section in the Android app, with a decent display and full details? Opening a contact through the search button displays a poorly formatted list. When you click on a name, you get only some contact info, poorly displayed, and a full list of emails where this person might have been a party to correspondence. The correspondence is easier searched in Mail.
The built-in app provides a decent list format. When you open a contact, full info is nicely displyed, with easy access to text messages and WhatsApp message history. It would be nice to have something similar in Outlook.

yes, yes, yes! why is it so **** hard to find your contacts list? this is the most annoying thing you have ever done and you've done some really annoying stuff. I want to be able to see my contacts when I want to see them for adding or deleting, I don't want to always go to my main microsoft account to do this. make it accessible straight from outlook.

I save all contacts in outlook people on my laptop, and make extensive notes on each person's contact card for business, under notes. I also link those contacts to linkedin, through the people application. But, even although my Google account is synced to my Microsoft account, those contacts don't appear on my phone. I have to manually transfer my new connections to Google for them to appear on my phone contact list. I appreciate I can access my outlook address book/contacts/people through the outlook email app on Android, but it would be a lot easier if there was a dedicated people app I could download from the android store, to use as my default people/contacts app on my phone

I recently learned from your helpdesk that contacts are indeed included in the app. How are you to know without a button?

Assuming a contact in the phone contacts directory has an email address associated with it, I would like to be able to simply type the name of the person in the "send to" bar, for example rather than have to remember their email address, I should just be able to type in the name as it appears in my contacts e.g. "Dad" and this would enter my Dad's email address.

I frequently delete emails knowing they are still in my trash folder and I can retrieve them if I want. I would like the search function to have the option to include the trash folder so I can readily find email so have deleted. This feature is part of outlook on Windows
