provide full support for Outlook tasks
I've inquired about this before, i.e. supporting full-featured Outlook Tasks in the Android version. not some dumbed down todo list, but a full fledged database, syncing categories & their colors, all the task fields synced properly. Customizable views. Pocket Informant did it back in Windows CE days, should be a lot easier today given today's phone capabilities. my task dstabase is several thousand items, so you can see why custom views matter

Outlook Online has a Tasks icon. We use it for seeing tasks then dragging them to a calendar date. Then we can see the tasks in the calendar and it has a check icon; Android Outlook there is not that icon. The Tasks icon appears on a computer only, however many of us do not often use a computer we are mobile using tablets and phones only. Yes, we add Tasks with To-Do, but truly need to see them in the Calendar as well. Not seeing them in the Calendar we too often double book time; seeing tasks in Android Outlook we will not embarrass ourselves. Notice in Gmail tasks appear and be set to another color as well; excellent feature.

I don't like your Microsoft To Do List app, which is what the create task function links to, i want to be able to "create a event" like how the samsung email app lets me on an open email and i want that email to be automatically copied over too a calendar app of my choice, for work purposes (so my boss can see my calender).
so i don't have to spend 3minutes manualy copy and pasting the email and its subject into my calendar.

This allows me to plan my day at home then check off or add task as I go about my day. Right now I have take separate notes from my task list to create a mobile to do list or write ideas down to be input in Outlook at the end of the day. The ToDo app is helpful but lacks many of the advanced features that Outlook tasks has. The primary reason I do not rely on it ToDo is it does not sync reoccurring tasks correctly and causes errors or accidental deletion of these tasks.

Currently, the Create Task option (to create a task from an email) only shows if the email mentions some kind of date or time, when it should be an option for ALL emails, since a user may want to be reminded of an email for any number of reasons.

I'd like to see full support for outlook tasks, including user-defined categories and views whose contents are dynamically computed, as they are in other versions of outlook.

I use the desktop feature daily to remind me to complete tasks and requests. I really miss this in the app.

Some users get their task assigned by email that has a due by date. Link the email directly to ToDo app saves time. Also link ToDo back to the email for quick check.

Outlook Tasks with reminders is a most useful feature of Outlook. I find the mobile version of Outlook without Tasks, quite useless !!!
