Proper search - in current folder, from sender, subject includes, key words, etc
Search function must enable search in current folder, search from a given sender and search words in the subject of the email. Ideally the search UI will be identical to the UI of the search in Outlook for Windows

Whenever a messages or mails recieved over long period of time, it would accumulate in inbox and when required to clean inbox using particular source or subject or text, manually cleaning it is very difficult and time consuming
So with the existing search with additional option to select few/all and delete option will make this process very easy.
enabling search by mailbody or subject

Why (???) we can not search for emails or it does'n not suggest the receiver by any data (combination of any letters in the email) - but only makes seuggestions by the start of the email address... so if I know/ remember that someones's surname is Williams... and his email is rob.williams@... and I just type in the receipient williams - I will not get any suggeations (??!!!). You force me to know for every client or partner in order to make a suggestion for me - how their email address starts. That's unseen. Please fix this. It's insane.

when i search for an email sender i want to see just the emails that he sent to me
Keep conversations both in inbox and sent folders. Do not move it to sent folder because I had replied.

Previously, one would filter out the time period if they remembered when they received or sent out the email. This function was however removed and makes it difficult to search some emails.

When I want to search for emails sent by a particular person, no matter what email address they sent their emails from, at this point what I end up receiving is all emails involving that person. So that means emails they've sent as well as any emails that they've been cc'd on and any emails where their name was mentioned in the email. I'd like to be able to just enter their name in and have only emails pop up that they sent.

i need filter by keyword in the messages content.
Create a better algorithm for retrieving past emails in your search function. Oftentimes I have not been able to find specific emails despite searching by Sender name or content key words. I have tested to make sure it's not a user error, and I have found Outlook fail to retrieve a specific email that I can find by scrolling by hand for a long time, proving that it's not deleted. Also allow for the search option of searching EVERY folder, not just Inbox, etc. This failure has put me in tough positions with my boss; it looks unprofessional to "lose" emails, but I've never had a problem using hotmail or Gmail. Unfortunately my government job restricts us to Outlook so I have no choice. It's the most confusing, disorganized, inefficient email platform I've ever used. How has market competition not forced you to improve yet?
