If cut & paste text from one email in outlook app to a new email in outlook app it adds line between each line...
Original text line spacing should be preserved...
Outlook should not add an Extra line after each line in the text ( body ) causing it to be double spaced...
To reproduce what I'm saying...
Create an email that has several paragraphs that has multiple lines of text in body of email...
Just save it as draft and then open draft; Outlook adds spaces after each line making it double space...
Second scenario, create another email with multiple paragraphs that have multiple lines of text ( single spaced )
a. send it
b. when receive it cut text from body
c. open new email
d. paste text into body
Sometimes it may look same, sometimes it'll show double space...
Send it and open it and it'll be double space...
Outlook app is adding spaces and it should not do that...
I've noticed this for past year and maybe since 2015 update

Duplicate stand alone Outlook on Android and desktop, including Format Painter and full search features.

This is very pathetic attitude of developers that such a common feature is not being implemented and to top that the request opened previously was closed as completed while it was never implemented. This is rude.

this is a bug in the current app

In other apps like Gmail for Android or Outlook for Windows, I like how I can format text: Change text size, add italics, bold text, underscore, cross-through text, pick a different font, etc.. I want to be able to do this in Outlook for Android and iOS.

bold, underline, italics, bulleting
bullet list is getting truncated from left side need to have indentation
Why are you dragging your feet on this. All other versions of Outlook has them. Every other worthwhile email apps have them.
How long is it going to take you to do this??? Your internet version has them. Your desktop versions have them. What is taking you so long? GMAIL HAS THEM. BLUEMAIL HAS THEM. Get it done!

Please add "bullet points" as an option along with other current options (bold, italic, underline, font, colour etc)

I can see that this request was "completed", two years ago, but it isn't at all:
We need some formatting options like Bold, italics, underlined, bulleted and numbered lists.
Please try to use it in your daily bases and you are going to see that is not true.

Come one! This request is not completed! Or could you share a screenshot how to do it?

agree with this. Outlook on my desktop defaults to calibri for my whole org, while my phone only sends emails in Arial. you dont have to give us the whole gauntlet of fonts, but a few commonly used ones would be extremely helpful. adding even just Calibri in addition to Arial will probably cover most users

even though it's kind of obvious I just realized it's not yet supposed on the Android outlook app.

Please give us the same font options that you provide on the desktop version of Outlook. We need to have the color, size, bold, underline, italics and etc options. It only makes sense. Thanks for allowing me to shar
